We have been using 3 "new" atties with no problems for a month and a half now. Although I have nothing to compare them to, I actually LIKE the "new" atties.
They seemed all right to me in terms of how they worked. More recently I got geniune Joye atomizers from both Eastmall and Totally Wicked. They're all fine in terms of how they fit together with the carts.

The length of time that atomizers work varies by user. If you don't overheat the atomizer a lot it could last 2 to 4 months or more. Your experiences may be different. If you bought a authentic Joye-510 e-cig it really doesn't matter who you buy it from. They are all produced in the same factory.

I had the same problem with the wide band atty's.

I thought they just needed to break in, but after two months I've given up on them.

They have no resistance to the draw and produce hardly any vapor. My original atty's with the thin band are still going strong after 2 and a half months.

I have been using both types since April and I found there to be no difference between them.

One question is where did you buy them? Were they a special bulk price? It may be a quality control issue.

I bought the wide band atty's from Totally Wicked. After the first week of no vapor I sent them back and they sent me two new ones. They performed almost exactly the same. It could just be luck of the draw.

One of them fires up after about 3 good minutes of use, but if I let it cool down I have to heat it up and break it in all over again.

BTW- I recently ordered two atty's from Dietsmokes. One Scorpion red band and a white tie model. They were monsters right out of the box. The only difference I can tell is that the two wide band atty's are labeled 510 Titan, and the other are said to be official Joye510 atty's.

I've heard from numerous people that all 510 atty's are manufactured by Joye, just rebranded by various suppliers.

My wide-band attys were a bulk order (2 5-packs) from eastmall. In the picture on their site, they showed the narrow-band ones. Figures.

I just got a copper kit from healthcabin yesterday (after my original post) and those attys are great - loads of vapor and easy draw. I even put the copper atty on my black batt and it was great. I thought maybe my black batts were getting old and losing power, but not so.

In a little while, I'll have to try the bulk attys from HC and see how they work. Damn, I just got an order from them, too.

Rocket, how long did it take you to receive your shipment from HC? I've been waiting a week and a half on a copper 510 kit.

I got my (pretty large) order in 6 days. I'm not sure why yours is taking so long. I think they're getting a lot of orders from people who are trying to get their orders in before the week-long national holiday next week.

I think you can click on the order link and see where your order is in the USPS system. That should tell you if it's made it to the US and cleared customs. The hold-up might be on this side of the pond. Good luck.
