One of them fires up after about 3 good minutes of use, but if I let it cool down I have to heat it up and break it in all over again.
BTW- I recently ordered two
atty's from Dietsmokes. One Scorpion red band and a white tie model. They were monsters right out of the box. The only difference I can tell is that the two wide band
atty's are labeled 510 Titan, and the other are said to be official Joye510
atty's.
I've heard from numerous people that all 510
atty's are manufactured by Joye, just rebranded by various suppliers.
I have heard of some users reporting problems with the 5 pack bulk orders. I have 6 of those packages and hope mine are ok. I have tried 2 of them and so far so good. Maybe I didn't save money after all?

Well, I ordered narrow-band attys from another vendor in a 5-pack, and they're working great. If the wide-band and narrow-band attys really are from the same source, then I must gottten a bad batch. I'm still skeptical, though...........

been a little out of the loop on 510's so i will come out and ask directly in here. Which other attys are compatible with the same battery connector as a 510? i read that blucig attys may work. i am not really interested in what will work the other way. i am compiling a shopping list for atty alternatives should i need to get the emergency replacement when suppliers are dry on the 510 atty.

I am confused, but that is no big suprise. I have 510 atties from 2 different places. One says 510 titan and the other says yetti. The difference is noticed in the coil (other than the obvious cosmetic differences). The titan has a larger coil bridge and the yetti is more narrow. What is the real difference?

Ok this might sound ridiculous, but I have the bulk atty's from eastmall with the thick gold band. Mine last anywhere from a week to 2 months. I do use a tire pump to blow them out every night before bed. This gets the excess liquid out of the atty so that it doesn't clog up. I noticed that after I blow them out, they work as if they were new for at least 4 or 5 top offs. I also used the crest pro health cleaning thing on some older attys and managed to save like 2 out of 5 this way, so looking up the thread on the cleaning with crest pro health may be a good idea.
I have one atty that leaks, and I forget which one it is because I usually carry two around with me. It sucks when it leaks grape because that stuff can stain :-p

I'm not aware of any non-510 atty (unless you count the AltSmoke "Yeti" or TW "Titan") that works with 510 batteries. But there are adapters available for the 510 battery that let you use a 901 or 801 (or KR808D) atty: AltSmoke | Personal Vaporizer 510 (Yeti) Battery Adapter - Adapters - PV Parts

for the recorded the yeti, dura, titan, are 510's as far as i am aware. my main question was if there is any atty not sold as a 510 that would work for example the 301's/ BLu cig i heard they can work with out adapter. any truth to this or others.

The 902 atty from Modern Vapor fits a 510 battery connector. I just built a few box mods specifically for the 902, using 510 battery connectors on the box. Also the 902 is fantastic at 5 volts. Almost like it's made for it. The only thing I don't like about them is the positive connector on the 902 atty is recessed a little bit, so you sometimes have to fiddle with it a bit to get a good connection. Or you can do what I do. Using a grinder, I take off about 1mm from the 902 atty where the threads are. The threads are below this point, so it's no big deal, but after that it easily connects to any 510, with no problems. Also a MUCH easier draw then the 510.

Hi lordmage
Joye306 has the same threads, plugs right in.
