I have noticed time and time again that the longer you charge a battery, the better it performs and the longer it lasts. Try it yourself and you'll see.
By the way, I want to clarify that I only use the charger that came with my e-cig. I don't know anything about mods or making my own chargers or anything like that. I would never advise anyone on how to use home-made equipment, since I have no idea how well it was made.
Standard instruction manual procedure cya. It assumes a completely discharged cell, when it's usually shipped fully charged, not fully depleted. Once the light signals charged, it's charged, the charger cuts off current so there is no worry about leaving them on.

Well, as I said, I'm a pretty heavy vaper. I'm always at home, at the computer or sometimes watching TV, and vaping away. Guess you could call me a chain vaper, the "chain" being that I'm constantly topping off my cart and dripping on the atomizer.

There used to be a video on this forum (maybe there still is) for beginners. One of the things it said was to always charge your batteries for 8 hours the first time, and always recharge for 4 hours, no matter when the green light comes on. There are many here who swear that batteries last longer, the longer they're charged. That has ben my personal experience as well. At any rate, the purpose of my thread was to let others know that I've been getting 11-12 hours out of my Titans. I am merely speculating about whether recharging them for 8 hours is the reason for this great performance. Maybe I just got extremely lucky with two batteries that happen to have an extra long usage time.

I would have to say you've been lucky then. The longest I've ever got out of a Mega is 3 hours. (managed 5 twice yesterday with an EM4). I know of one other who has only ever got 2 hours out of his.
Well done, looks like your regime works.

Hmm, wonder if we're talking about the same batteries. These are the Titan Mega Power batteries; they're 90 mm long, quite a bit longer than the regular 510 batts. I get about 2 hours out of the regular batteries. Then again, I usually charge them for 4-8 hours, too

Yes, I'm fully aware what a Titan Mega battery is (the 90mm long 280mAh 510 battery), I ordered mine (as did the friend I mentoined) on the day they hit the TW site, & the longest I have got out of it is 3 hours. By comparison the EM4 (M401 280mAh manual) that I mentioned earlier has so far given a consistant 4 - 5 hours from a 2 hour charge, maybe I should try leaving them on longer to see if I can match your results with the Titan Mega
Regular Titans usually only last me around 1.5 hours, so half the life of a Mega. Odd that you're only getting half an hour more out of these than I am, when your Mega is obviously seriously out performing mine.
One other thing I noticed with the Mega is it doesn't appear to have as good a throat hit to the regular Titans. Have you found this also?

Now that you mention it, it does seem that the throat hit isn't very strong at first, but seems to be fine after a bit, as if the battery needs to "warm up." How long have you had your Titans? As I said, I just got mine a few days ago, so only time will tell if they continue to perform like this consistently.

I've been using them awhile, they last me on average 4-5 hrs. Twice as long as the regular length batteries, these have performed as advertised for me.

How long do you charge them for?

Regulars since June, Mega since the week it came out. But the Mega just doesn't give the hit that the regulars do

Mine last twice as long too, it's just that my regulars only last 1.5 hours.
esdel, what are you charging with? Mains or USB?
