I hope I'm not repeating something that has already been said, but I've done a search and couldn't find a similar post, so here goes... I received some Titan MEGA batteries for my 510 from Totally Wicked about a week ago. The batteries came partially charged, according to them, but I decided to charge them as if they weren't charged at all: 8 hours, then vape for 20 minutes, then charge one more hour. These batteries are supposed to last twice as long as the regular 510 batteries, so that would be about 4 hours. However, I kid you not, I have been getting an amazing 11-12 hours out of them, and that's with pretty heavy vaping! I do want to point out that I recharge them for 8 hours every time, which is pretty convenient, as I just stick one in the charger overnight. I have not heard of anyone else getting this much time out of these batteries, so I'm thinking my success might be due to the 8 hours of recharging. I just wanted to a) let everyone know about these great batteries (I swear, I'm not associated with TW in any way other than as a customer), and b) ask if anyone else has gotten this much time out of them. Needless to say, I'm just loving not having to constantly change the batteries! |

You only need to charge till the light goes green on the charger. Any longer and you risk overcharging and explosion and or fire. I know I know, the manual says too. I really wish the manufacturers would change it in the manual. Those charging instructions apply to ni-cads and such. Not to li-ion and li-poly. |

True, But some of the mods use unprotected cells and so do the e-gars. Would hate for someone to think it would be standard practice for all lithium batteries.

Just buy intelligent chargers ONLY. If you buy ones that are not then your are being just crazy, and asking for a fire in your house.

Back to the Titan mega batteries: My girlfriend has been using them everyday since August 20th. While the run time has declined slightly since she received them, they still last for 4 hours of moderate-to-heavy vaping. If these batts last for as many charging cycles as the standard model then they'll be a better value; they're giving 2-1/2 times the performance of the standards but only cost $12.32 each if purchased in a 5-pack, compared with $9.68 each for the standard battery (5-pack price). |

Anyone using a mod should know what type of batteries they are using.

I have noticed time and time again that the longer you charge a battery, the better it performs and the longer it lasts. Try it yourself and you'll see. By the way, I want to clarify that I only use the charger that came with my e-cig. I don't know anything about mods or making my own chargers or anything like that. I would never advise anyone on how to use home-made equipment, since I have no idea how well it was made.

| It's all well & good saying that, but how often in that time do you pick it up & actually vape?
