I don't agree. Charging them to less than the max voltage will also help and recharging before the minimum cut-off will extend the life of Li-ons.

Look at the dramatic difference in charge cycles at 4.2V vs 4.3V.


The chintzy 10¢ chargers we mostly use could easily be overcharging to 4.3V. This might help explain the wildly varying results folks post with the same make of batteries.
