my joye 510 review 2 weeks in

Sorry for asking this here (It won't let me start a new thread) but: Where can I buy a full/starter Joye 510 kit? Like what site has the best prices for everything including all supplies (attys, batteries, juice etc.). Once again sorry for going off topic!!

BATTERY ISSUE UPDATE
(I'm still too junior to post a new thread)

I recently had a problem with my batteries, where after charging, they would not turn on...
Originally, it was one of the two...
but then, after a subsequent charge, BOTH batts became affected...

I have found it was not the switch after-all, but something else...

perhaps a summary is in order...
I charged a batt, and could not get it to turn on...
I re-charged it, and found no action... I triggered it 3 times then tapped it on the table, and then it worked...
the 2nd battery then exhibited similar symptoms, but I found after pressing the switch 5 times, it would work...
This happened for the next couple charges on both batteries, after which I needed to press the switch 9 times before it would turn on...
(note after the initial switching hassle, they worked flawlessly until the current was exhausted)
NOW... a couple days after that incident, I am turning them on after 3-5 trigger initial trigger hits, post-charging...

Perhaps this is something to do with the Protection circuit?
Does anyone have any idea why the batteries are doing this?

I am still getting 2-3 hours of life out of them, but the need to trigger the switches, post-charging, is an oddity...

Does anyone know if the flash sequence (when hooking to the charger) means something? Like Error Codes, etc. ?

Cigot has the best price for a starter kit ($35), but Rocky Mountain Vapor seems to have the best price for parts ($8 for an atty) with many more color choices ... and free shipping (for orders over $14).

welll myfredomsmoke.com seems to have them (in the picture) 4 for 11.95 it doesnt say there are 4 but it doesnt say "each" either so i dunno ... if it is 4 for 11 bux then thats sweeeeeeet but they are outa stock

I really doubt that $11.97 is for four attys, especially considering myfredomsmoke.com's high prices for kits, other parts, and the PCC.

my 510 starter kit is now 2 weeks old...
I still love it (especially considering I am not smoking analogs... my lungs and tongue are very happy over that)

I believe my 510 is made by BOGE (a good copy)...
My only concern was with my batteries doing weird things after about a week (see previous posts)
however, everything is back to normal...
Certainly, the batteries have lost some peak-power, but that is to be expected, just like cell-phone batteries...
I am still getting 2+ hours of vaping time (I checked the voltage after charging and they are coming to 3.9V+, not quite the 4.2V you get from a NEW batt)

And this is with 2-3 charge cycles/batt per day...

In regards to the atty's, I have had no issues...
every 3-4 days, I rinse them out under HOT tap water, until the wick is white (they tend to get brown from the juice)...
Blow out the residual water from both ends, and then let them dry for a couple hours before re-priming with juice and snapping on a fresh cart (I refill mine)...
So far so good... the resistance is still showing 2.2 Ohms approx...
Even my damaged atty is working great (which had a bent braid that I repositioned with tweezers)
I don't think the alcohol or Poli-dent cleaning methods are necessary... I'll be curious to see if I can get 6 weeks out of these as some have claimed

I now have another batt and atty (via my NEW PCC) and a USB Pass-through which is DEFINITELY a saviour (great vapour, and handy for around the house)

As for my juice consumption, I seem to be going through 1-1.1ml per day...
so that should tell you how much I use it...

ya i havent cleaned my attys or anything yet lol... i think im going to clean one, and the other i wont and see which lasts longer. these batts still dont last me more then about an hour of heavy vaping lol.... cant wait till my next check so i can gets me some connectors and some other small goodies to finish my mods
