    Default LED won't turn off

Hi. I got a brand new starter kit from china. Today is only the second day and the LED won't turn off. I "think" it was off until I pushed the button to vape now it's on permanently. I've unscrewed the atty but the light's still on.

    suggestions?

EDIT: Okay, I just tried screwing it in to the charger. The light will blink as usual and then turn off. However, the charger light stays green.

am I out a 1 day old battery already?

it's been over an hour and a half and the light is still on. The battery is holding its charge. However, an atty hooked up to it won't vape. The battery screwed into the charger won't charge (according to charger light).

    Arrrgh!

The exact same thing happened to me on a black Joye 510 I just received from China last week. The light wouldn't go off on the 1st battery after charged, & the 2nd battery barely holds any charge. Bad batch or charger? I hope not 'cause I have another unopened kit. What brand was yours?

Update: I was messing with my new dead battery trying to get the light to shut off when I dropped it... now it works & vapes! I hope it lasts now.

    Grateful - thanks for sharing

I'm not sure what "brand" it was. It's a joye 510 from e-cigarette-china.com It came in the little white box with the manual so it seems like a genuine product.

It worked for a day, the charger still works for my other batteries. I'm pretty sure it's an issue with the switch inside. I just don't know what to do about it!

I emailed my supplier. Who did you get yours from?

I have had two do this one from TECC (uk) TW (uk), is it the rubbery type switch or the hard plastic type switch? If its the rubber one try flicking the button a few times with your fingernail.

I have a mega battery from a multipack I got from TW that will not turn off. Also one of the atty's was DOA. I was told no warranty. It's been 12 hours and the led is still on.

It's been almost 36 hours and it is still stuck on.. Luckily I have 4 other Mega batteries. I'm hoping when it dies completely that it will recharge.

I can only hope for the same. I'm pretty sure the switch on my battery is broken though.

Good news is that the China supplier is willing to replace it if I send it back. Bad news is won't it cost more to send it back than to buy a new one?
