Talking My First Joye 510 Review

Ok, I just got this bad boy and so far this is my first review ever, plus it's my very first e cig. What I bought is the Joye 510, basically a copper body with a white LED. This is also the very same one my best friend had and allowed me to vape when I hanged out with him. The first thing I've noticed when vaping was the throat hit I got. It was pretty immense for such a small thing; wasn't expecting it when I first tried it. The battery is still fresh and I'll post a 2 week review afterwards to give out my final results. The ONLY thing I didn't like was how the atomizer hot pretty hot to the touch, which also wasn't expected as well. I've pretty much caught on and stopped holding it at the atomizer part. So far, vaping production is very decent and it's pretty good as a starter for me. The only problem I'll have is cleaning it, since I sorta can't understand the instructions as to how to clean it due to the fact that I think part of the instructions was cut off. If I was to grade this so far, I'd give it a B. Dunno why but it was just the hot atomizer part that I didn't like. Feel free to post me some tips about owning an e cig since I'm a first time vaper. ^-^

Honestly.. if the 510 atomizer is getting "hot", then something isn't quite right.. it is either slightly flooded or starved for liquid (or you are chain-vaping like a lunatic).

A 510 atty will get warm.. even mildly hot at times.. but never hot to the point where it is downright uncomfortable to touch the outside of the atty (at standard voltage).

And don't worry about cleaning the atty at this early stage of its life.

I agree with Scottbee. When it's flooded it gets BURNING hot, when it's too dry it gets hot, but when it's just wet I can only feel it getting mildly warm.

I chain vape. I also have 3 510s assembled with different flavors. When I notice the atty getting warm I swap. I would think that letting it get real hot could shorten the life of the atty. Just guessing though, I'm approaching 3 months and haven't lost one yet.

Hmm...I'll keep that in mind, Wireguy ^_^
