Joye 510 atty suck
1 out of 12 I have bought didn't have horrible taste and smell. I have tried everthing I could find on this forum to fix the problem. Even drip doesn't help.

Have you tried the dry burn on these. This should get rid of the smell and taste. After this drip about 3 drops of eliquid on the atomizer.

out of the 10 510 attys that i bought none of them have tasted burnt.. but when i get them i blow out the primer dip them grain alcohol let them dry then flood them with the liquid blow them out then use them

yeah blowing out usually does the trick... don't dry burn too long if you are going to do that... because THAT could blow your atty.... blow out from battery connector end into a paper towel or something and you will see, then drip a couple of drops of liquid directly on to the atty(even if you are using carts this dripping should be done initially, for best results)...
if by any chance you only use carts and have no bottle of liquids, take quick puffs then relax and repeat until you start getting taste and vapor. This should only need to be done a few times and then puff normally
let us know if that helps

Im sorry your having problems. U are blowing the primer out of the new ones? Giving them time to get broke in?
Where are you getting your atties from?

Tara's Vaping : 1/2/10 on a Ego, I like it with duel carts, 510 for the need of the feel of a real cig.I havnt saved a penny but im having fun :)

I have tried all the cleaning methods except sonic. I have tried most of the mods. The two new ones I got today. I blew them out put 2 drops on atty and filled cart and took short slow 2 puffs. Then set aside with cart up for 5 minutes check cart it was still full. Not much vapor but they where short puff so not to over heat. I have been working on this for a week and half. One of the attys I took everything out but the coil then went through several differant cleanings, and did dri burns until the pt reached cut off I don't even know how many times. The burnt taste or what ever it is is still there. I just don't understand. Cignot, RMV, ZigCig. I am not the only one on this forum with this issue. And why is it I know how to get one of them to work and 11 others I screw up? Read some of GoodDog posts.

I've had a few of mine taste like crap too. Since I only drip, what I ended up doing was removing the wick. That fixed everything... and made the atty perform better. Only try this if you are a dripper.

I am not a dripper but tried removing the mesh and support did several clean suggestion and several dry burns until was to hot to hold anymore but still has problem.

I use Ever Clear (180 Proof) on my atty's. Just put the rubber cap on the thread side fill the atty with the Ever Clear put a finger over the non-threaded side and shake... drain... blow out, repeat this process until the liquid is clear when draining. I let them dry for about an hour after the clean. This will totally clear out the atty so be sure to direct drip at least 5 - 6 drops of e-liquid straight in the atty before trying to vape with it again.
Hope this helps...

when you break out a new 510 atty buy the 0mg unflavored Pg or VG from cignot for $3 per 15ml, blow the primer fluid out, flood the atty, heat it up, blow it out, repeat a few times and you will have it cleaned out and ready to go.
I have never had any problems getting primer or old flavors out of the 510s and you don't have to re-break the atty in and deal with the foul flavors for two days like you do when you use the coke, alcohol or crest methods of atty cleaning
