Cost?
Because DH and I have been using the 510 for over 2 weeks now, I know this is somewhat of a question with no real answer, but I know it will be asked.
We have a couple that have expressed interest in our e-cigs, but have decided that they do not want to fiddle with the 510, so that let me to search out the 2-piece units. It seems like the KR808D-1 may be the cheapest one to purchase. (Please correct me if I am wrong.)
I also know that NHaler sells it which is important since I have ordered from him and I know that he will communicate with his customers via phone. The couple does not have the internet, so all of their purchases will have to be made over the phone.
For two people, how many batteries do you think they should have? Two apiece?
How long does a cartomizer last you on average (hoping a few people will chime in since I know my husband and I don't use the same amount of liquid per day, so I assume there would be some variance in this as well.)
It looks like NHaler sells them 5/$9. For shipping, I'll round up and say $2 per cartomizer. Would you say this is about average cost? They will not be refilling them. Any speculation on how this would equate to your average pack of analogs? The quickstart guide says that each cartomizer lasts for approximately 200 puffs. It also says that about 15 puffs is equivalent to smoking a regular cig. So, that would mean a cartomizer was equal to around 13 cigs. To be on the safe side using their estimate, we can round down to 10 cigs.
So, using those numbers, I would estimate that each cartomizer was the equivalent to 1/2 pack of cigs. So, that would mean that each carton of analogs would equal about 20 cartomizers, or $40 per week.
Does this sound like a good starting point for a price estimate to give them for their costs aside from batteries?

I top off my cartomizers after a couple vaping episodes, I just don't want them to go dry and ruin them. I can't say how many cigs it equals, because I have no idea. I would recommend the PT and at least 2 batteries to begin with. It's cheaper to refill so ordering juice is a must. These are much easier than the 510 on the go. I use them with the PT at home so really don't use my 510 much anymore. Different suppliers have different prices, check out all the vendors listed. Drew's are $9, V4L are $12.50, Cig easy $7.95, and Cig techs are $6.95. The long manual is pretty new and works great, they also have the short 10 sec cut off which many like. You have to check the different vendors to see if they offer everything you need.

I'm sure that is less expensive than the carto's especially if you don't bother to refill them as the poster suggested, but one of the main reasons I went with the KR808D-1 is the ease of use. Even refilling the cartos is a breeze. All those mods and constant adjustments would drive me insane and likely back to analogs. It's my first e-cig and I honestly see no reason to try another, I am THAT satisfied!

Thier is no adjustment!!! Takes 5 minutes to make a PTB Mod. The mod last at least a week.Holds AVG 14 drops. That last me about 3-4 hours and i'm a moderate vapor.Battery last all day and then some!!!And the most constant warm throat hit at 3.7v! There no maintiance on the Chuck at all!!

Dude, some people don't want a mod and the muss and fuss of a 510. Cartos can be easily refilled many many times, making it just as cost efficient. People using the KR808 want to screw on the carto and vape. That is all...
