Default How do I know when my PCC and batt are charged?

My KRD808D came with an instruction book, but mentions nothing about the lights on the personal charger. There are two lights inside the case. When I first plugged in a battery that needed to be charged, one of the lights turned solid red. After a few hours, that same light started blinking (still red). Is this the indication that my batt is now fully charged, or will it turn green eventually, indicating a full charge?

Also, when I plugged in my charging case to my pc, that indicator light also went solid red. I don't want to over-charge (if that's even possible)? When should I unplug my case from my computer? And should I take my battery out of the case as soon as it is fully charged or will it be OK if I just leave it in there until I need it?

Thanks in advance. I'm somewhat new to this model. I was an 801 vaper prior to getting this unit, which did not come with a personal charging case.

Holding the PCC open, with the hinge at the top, the top light will turn red when you plug into a USB port. When the PCC is charged, this light will turn green.

The bottom light will turn red when battery is charging. When it goes out, that battery is charged. It will blink red every so often, presumably to check the status of the battery.

You can't overcharge either one. They have circuitry to prevent that. I leave my PCC plugged in every night, with a battery in it.

Thanks PawPaw! Your simple instructions would have only taken up one little paragraph in the instruction book. I can't imagine why this was left out of the book. I would have just waited to see what was going to happen next, but I was afraid of over-charging. I'm glad to know that I can't do that because I can see myself plugging this thing in and forgetting about it when I go to bed at night.

Hope you are doing well PawPaw!

    You are welcome.

I have a small surge protector with 2 USB power ports. I plug my PCC into one and my USB battery charger into the other and leave them all night.

BTW, you can charge the PCC and a battery (in the PCC) at the same time. It takes longer, but it works.

I'm doing very well thank you! I hope you're doing well also.
