Default Refilling cartos with VG-based juice?

Anyone doing this? I'm given to understand the juice can be a little thicker than the PG-based juice I use and I was wondering about carto performance.

Any experiences or best practices to pass on? Any differences from using regular PG-based juice?

It was my understanding that green smoke carto were only filled with vg, thats why the vapor production was better than most.

Default Refill cartomizers with VG-based juice

I just got my 808 and the stock cartomizers were a) horrible tasting, b) had a harsh throat hit and c) produced little to no vapor. I rinsed out the five cartomizers that came with the kit and refilled them all with VG-based Maple flavored juice.

The juice is a bit thicker so I had to be more patient with the juice and coax it down the side of the cartomizer. Once the cartomizer was filled, I let it sit to make sure it seeped into the filling.

No more harshness and vapor production increased (as one would expect from VG).

Thanks for the replies. I've got a mess of cartos and am interested in trying out some VG to see what difference there is between PG. Just didn't want to waste the money if VG wouldn't vape well in a carto.

you can also thin the vg with a few drops of distilled water or vodka.

V4L is planning to come out with VG based carts, Leaford was asking for favorite flavors on their forum. I use VG in my carts, and yes the juice is a little thicker. I just do the old thermometer shake to get the juice to setting into the filler. Vapes great.
