    Default battery issues

So i recieved my kr808d-1 just 5 hours ago. I was so excited and so convinced it would be awesome based on all the postive reviews that I bought a bunch of cartomizers and a pcc. Well I plugged on battery in for its 8 hour charge time, and I couldn't help myself so I started using the second one right away. I was really disappointed with the draw and cut off time, The draw was making my cheeks hurt after two or three draws, and the cut off time was like 2 maybe 3 seconds top.
Well after a few hours of using/breaking in I decided to try the other battery...wow! now I know why people love this thing. The draw was smooth, about as smooth as an auto 510, perfect! And the cut off time must have been like 5+ seconds, actually I never reached the cut off time, the vapor was excellent and throat hit was on par with a 510.

So what can I do about that other battery? Does it warrant contacting the vendor for a replacement or does it need to break in? Any suggestions please!

Check to make sure you have the air holes properly lined up and clean and it's not a problem with the carto before you give up on the battery. Charge it fully and if it's still naughty then contact your vendor. Any more ideas out there?

I agree, Taryn. These things are mass produced, and sometimes you just get a dud (through no fault of the vendor). I would contact the vendor and ask for a replacement.

Also try poking a pin or needle through those little air holes under the threads. Sometimes they're not completely open on a new battery.

NO problem with that battery...well with the scenerio that you had provided

The second battery NEEDS to be charged since you didn't charge it and it blinks after 2 or 3 seconds that isn't the cut off that is two other things

1 you are drawing too hard
2 it's telling you that you need to charge the battery

All previous posts provide good information if the second battery after charging is doing the same thing

Hopefully this helps... let us know

I had some issues with a manual battery not working as well...the led comes on but it does not vape at all...it is also fully charged too. I seems the led end is connected but the end that fires the cartimizer does not work...anyone have this happen? This is a fresh battery just sent.
My vendor is replacing it ...I just wondered if this has happened to anyone else?

These things do happen, and usually it's at the factory. I had an xlong manual battery that had the opposite problem -- way too airy. I'd never had a manual battery with an airy draw before. I think the threads were a little off. So I just stuck a tiny piece of tape on one of the air holes, and voila, just as good as my other manuals.

Another poster suggested sticking a toothpick in the hole and breaking it off even. Eventually my tape will fall off, so I may try the toothpick method later. I didn't want to ask for a replacement, because it's a perfectly good battery; I just couldn't get the carto to screw on tight enough no matter how much I tried.

Jewls, you did the right thing in asking for a replacement. Sometimes they are just faulty. And if I hadn't been able to make mine work right, I would have asked for a replacement, too.

I had the same kind of problem myself when I changed a cart. When I draw, only the light comes on, but there was not vapor or anything coming out.

I found out the the cart was the problem. Probably a faulty one from manufacturer/supplier, with a bad/broken atomizer or something else.

My suggestion was to change the cart if you are sure that the battery was fully charged ... :o) ... happy vapping.

Nope thats not whats wrong because the cart works on the other battery. The starange think is ..I ordered my mother the same kit about the same time frame...
My kit had a blue battery and a Chrome. My moms had two blue batteries. My blue would not work with any cart and my Chrome works perfect. My mom on the other hand had 2 blue batteries and neither one would work...I think it was a manufacturing problem ..I know the color of the batteries have not bearing ...they are all the same kind ..but maybe the 3 my family received were not manufactured right. but ...good news is I ordered from a company that has a no hassle replacement policy.

    Default kits

My new kit had the same problem. The long battery seems to work fine, but the short one is not functioning properly. The light on the charger goes from red to green and the LED light comes on, but when I vape I get nothing--just that nasty, nothing's coming out taste. After about 15 minutes of huffing, puffing, tapping the cart and covering up the holes, the battery LED starts blinking and I give up.

I have sent an e-mail to the supplier to ask what if anything can be done to fix this.
