Cartomizers... recommended mods and PT devices

Hi all,
am loving the cartomizers. I am not a big fan of the batteries of the KR808 series though. They work in a pinch, however, I have to draw way to hard, and, well, I am a vain woman who wants to avoid wrinkles around the mouth from sucking so hard!
I see all the fancy mods out there that look cool. Are there any compatible with the carts? Also, when at my desk, I use a basic USB passthrough. I works well enough (don't have to suck hard). I was thinking of buying more to have on hand, however, they seem a bit flimsy. Are there some more heavy-duty passthroughs that work with the carts? No problem buying connectors, just don't know what or where to buy compatible equipment.

Right now there aren't any battery mods that come stock with the KR808D-1 connector. That being said, Alt-Smoke sells a 510 - KR808 adapter that works and has an easy draw. So any mod that has a 510 adapter will work. I've been using it with a Puresmoker Protege, and the Puresmoker passthru. Both are really well made, and Steve at Puresmoker has promised an native KR808 connector for both.

Alt smoke also sells the BB which you might look into, they are on pre-order, but they offer colors (pink, purple!) They will also have a passthru adapter for the BB.

If you have a 510 device already, order one of the $9 adapters and see if it works for you. If it's acceptable, your options are wide.

Also the Xhaler from Drew at NHaler has the kr808 tip available.

It sounds as though you are using the older kr808 batts. The newer long and xlong have very nice draws, check them out. V4L has them, not sure who else carries the xlongs.

Good stuff. Thanks. That cleared up a couple of things I was wondering about. So, if a mod comes with a 901 adapter, is it typically compatible with a cart?
Yeah, they are manual batteries. The button is too tiny to push, and they tend to cut in and out, at least one does. Need to go explore all that was mentioned. What would one of the smaller models of mods? Thanks again

A 901 mod will NOT automatically work with cartomisers - the fitting needs a slot or other "breather" built into it. Check before buying!

The new Chameleon will work with them (on the 901/KR808D adapter). Cartos need the slot on the bottom. http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/for...-now-open.html

I just received this on Friday. Really a well made unit (and comes with adapters for 801/510/901-Kr808D) and well as an option to buy the starter kit with all the atomizers and battery/charger. I bought the base unit (with 3 adapters) for $99 since I have batteries/charger/atomizers already. I'm waiting for my cartomizers now to use with it.
