kr8 vs 510 size matters
I was reading away on a thread, now don't remember which one then my computer hiccupped just as I read something that sent up a red flag for me..
is the kr8 a lot bigger than the 510? Waiting on my kr8 but now worried. Better yet anyone got a picture of them side by side? One of the hardest things while shopping was being able to tell how big the different pvs were when pictured by themselves.
thanks

The overall length using a 'regular' KR8 battery is just about the same as your average 510. The diameter of the KR8 is slightly larger, but only barely. It certainly wasn't enough to make a difference for me personally.
Edit: I think I recall reading at one point that a KR8 would be about the size of a 'king' analog, in regards to diameter. My initial reaction when reading this was a little disheartening, but once I got it, it really didn't bother me at all.

thanks, milky. I had gotten a free trial of a 510 and really liked the size/weight so was a bit concerned. Just know I don't want anything big and clunky. I want to be able to hold on to it most of the time like I do with analogs. (side benefit will be, no more emptying the keyboard when I empty the ashtrays, LOL)

Yeah, I've trashed so many keyboards, hubby started buying them two at a time!
Got the kr8 today and size wise its not big and clunky so I'm happy with it (though I'd like a 510 from someone besides ritesmoke one of these days). Still trying to learn how to draw on the kr8 without choking myself!
