    Default Japan ecig users...

I'm not sure if there are any other expats in Japan vaping. They are cracking down on public smoking here now. Starting 4/1 there is no smoking on any train platforms, where they had a 'smoking zone'. I have made a card to show, if approached. It states that it is not tobacco based and only water vapor is released, which is not hazardous or illegal...

I was free of tobacco for 3 years before a 2 week vacation to Tokyo. I can still hear Akihabara calling my name.

Yes, but now you won't find a 'hizara', (ashtray), there anymore!

Come on!!! Japan was the last time I really felt smoking freedom. I can't remember the name of the restaurant just outside of the Akihabara stop on the Yamanote line, but I still have dreams of the fantastic curry and beer I had there.

I hear vaping is really catching on in Japan, so I hope one day we can find really cool Japanified (read: super improved) versions in the endless aisles of Yodobashi. Really, if Japan accepts these things, you know how they like to absolutely perfect everything...

I'm visiting toyko in a month or two, Im not exactly sure what the card says, but would it be worth it for me to print out a couple of these to explain what the e-cig is?
