    I can certainly understand that!

But a bit of feedback about the impact would be interesting. Not that I imagine there was much high profile vaping going on before, but it would be interesting to know how people are taking it. And if there have been any articles in the Oz press in the run-up to the ban (and its aftermath.)

    No, no details wanted!

In the most general of terms though, is it survivable?

I'd hope to find support and workarounds, if such a famine came about.
No way could I go back to analogs. No way.

    Default as before

I think most of usare carrying on same as before.........

I have heard nothing about siezures.......

I know several who have ordered and received from overseas....

    As I understand it,
    the ban is on
    NICOTINE LIQUID
    NOT ON HARDWARE

I personally have got several orders of hardware in the last 2 months, both have been -
    opened and examined by customs,
passed as ok, nothing illegal found, nothing removed.

some here have ordered and received liquid without any problems also, the rule here is small .........

my experience to share with you,,,,,,

From the aussie forums I havent seen any reports of siezure (liquid or otherwise)

edit: also LOTS of reports of "got mine today" etc etc.. /edit

My stuff is getting through customs just fine.
I'm considering selling PV's on the sly (purely by word of mouth among friends and aquantainces) They're even more unheard of here than in other countries but everyone I've talked to about them (esp. smokers) have been very interested.

Considering that the "toxic" or "carcinogenic" properties of nic-juice are at the same levels as NRT and that PG is the same stuff that I inhaled through my ventolin nebulizer during childhood asthma, I'm fairly sure I could develop a small customer base of people who want their nicotine without the extra cancer.

mmm, gotta be carefull here, but all seems swell. I think its the first time a product has had more of a political buzz before actually taking off to the public. Noone around here knows what they are by the looks of things. Everytime i take mine out i find myself doing the 'Salesman rant' to fellow smokers. Give em a puff or two, and they're sold. It is scary how the government is attacking this though- maybe there is a bigger conspiracy behind tobacca than we thought eh? There doesnt seem to be many, if any, reports in the papers, news.com.au, etc about them, but there is a fair whack of GOV bad hype.
So far im surviving fine, things are coming through, and EVERYONE who has seem me with it has been 'WOW, what IS that?' publicans and bouncers alike. actually, a few of the publicans with resturants attached are very keen on the devices themselves. we're in the technology age, we should be EMBRACING this kind of thing...
Ah well cant have the govt missing out on there $$$$ ey. how much is it, $6billion from smokers per year?

Australians, chime in here about how things are going Down Under. We need to get this topic out of social groups and into areas read in the U.S., Canada and U.K.
