City Council Meeting report

Tuesday, April 7, 2009
Albany Chief of Police Jim Stueve told the council e-cigarettes are available now and people will be using them in bars. While they look like a cigarette, they are not and if people use them in bar it is not a violation of the clean air act.

The e-cigarette is a nicotine delivery device. Even though it looks like a cigarette, it does not burn tobacco and therefore produces no second hand smoke.


(yeah i know, i know... still kinda new and exciting doncha think? )
