there have also been ones denied entry that were marked ecig, ecigarette, or electronic cigarette.

It was 2 50ml bottles of 24mg tasteless e-liquid and nothing else.

Could be, but not necessarily in EVERY case!

Yeah, I bet. My friend said that if it had cigarette in declaration, he would assume tobacco of some kind and if he could not identify contents, back to holding for identification or refusal. He doesn't smoke and was pretty curious when I was showing him my PV and liquid. He even let me vape in his car while going to lunch. He was very amused and impressed that there was no smell and vapor byproduct dissapated so quickly. He said he hasn't seen anything like that or been asked anything about something like that yet. Again, He works for UPS and deals with UPS International orders. I have no idea how the federal works. I would have to assume it is the same regulations. He also said he would try to get a # for someone to get an official interview setup with a UPS International customs agent and/or a federal customs agent as well...... we'll see if that actually goes anywhere. I have lots of questions which are non-PV related as well.

From what I got talking with him. "For Personal Use" and identification of liquid as non hazardous and environmentally safe would be positive things to include if he were inspecting a package.

And that's the problem I foresee, at least with the e-liquids. 60 mg of nicotine is poison and will kill an adult. 24-36 might not be enough to kill and adult, but could well kill a pet or a child. That would be the excuse used to justify a ban of the importation of e-liquids, I would think. Wont someone PLEASE think of the CHILDREN who could DIE from drinking these liquids!

^ that's why I put warning labels on bottles and include a child resistant vial for keeping the bottle in. Even though it's up to the vendors to warn of the hazard, it's ultimately up to the parents to store in a safe place and to keep it away from their kids.

This may be something to keep in mind with bulk orders containing batteries. Looks like there is an amendment that takes effect Oct 1, 2009 on packaging and labeling of bulk boxes of lithium batteries. http://www.ultralifebatteries.com/do...egulations.pdf
