sdbird - exactly the info I'm searching for at the moment. I was told a cpl of years ago that if customs seizes a shipment they send the intended receipient a note stating it was, but I don't know if that's true and that was for something other than e-cigs I was checking into at the time.
well, I'm pretty sure I'll get to find that out in the coming days and Ill post whatever resolution or lack there of here. I have more shipments on the way but if another 150 kits get confiscated I'll be out of business.

My ejuice order came through with no problems. The containers were labeled "aromatherapy oil # 36".
I ordered my sleeping pills on-line and they were held by customs, but I did not know that. I contacted the on-line pharmacy and asked them what had happened and was it customs? They said to re-order. I re-ordered a smaller amount and it got delayed again. Both times the tracking entry stopped with "Inbound customs at JFK".
I contacted the on-line pharmacy again. They said they didn't know of any customs problems to re-order. I did not re-order.
Somewhere around 2-3 month later I got identical letters from Customs with different inventory/case numbers that said, in essence that, my sleepingpills were controlled and that I could do 1 of 3 options. Option 1 was check a box and dis-claim ownership, option 2 was like an appeal, option 3 was do noting and they would consider it abandoned. But, the last paragraph is what scared me...it said, in essence, if you do this again we will prosecute you.
Now, mind you the 2 orders were placed about a good month apart, but the letters came to me on the same day.

Aha, i am so glad to hear this good news from you. Thanks very much for all the details provided by other buddys here. I think we can tell our customers to rest assure of the customs cause i have got how to label correctly.
I received a china order through EMS in about 4 days. TW sent my e-liquid with the box clearly labeled "ecig". I took awhile to get only because they were slow to ship, but once it got to the US it got here at lightening speed.
I think if you are ordering large shipments it puts you way more at risk.
I agree with you, but out of curiousity, what is your guess of what a large shipment might be?
