    Default Thailand supplier

I live in Thailand and obtain my excellent e-cig supplies locally from Duracig. I can thoroughly recommend the highly-acclaimed Janty Dura-C which Khun Piyarut supplies. I started with a mini-cig, bought from the UK, which had an automatic switch, and this was not the most reliable model so I decided to go with a manual switch model. It's just great - clouds of vapour every time. The ordering process is not totally online - you have to manually send the money to Duracig, which is easy by ATM in Thailand. K. Piyarut will advise you of his account number if you wish to send money by internet bank transfer from overseas.

I was saddened to see that Singapore has followed HK's model and even banned possession of e-cigarettes. What are these governments afraid of? Is the message here that they'd prefer their citizens to smoke dangerous combustible cigarettes or is it that they don't want any more tobacco-related products in their territory? It's a shame that they cannot see the benefits for combustible smokers who'd like to stop smoking or simply use a safer alternative. I hope that they will see the light (sorry for the unintended pun).

As for myself, a smoker for 40 years, changing to an e-cigarette has brought tremendous benefits. My blood pressure and tri-glycerides have reduced dramatically. My sense of smell and taste have returned. Whilst my "vaping" is nowhere near my previous combustible levels, I haven't put on lots of weight. If I feel a craving coming on, I can have a couple of puffs of an e-cigarette - compare this with lighting up and consuming a whole combustible cigarette with the associated deleterious effects.

By the way, the tobacco companies suppressed the research done into the effects of tobacco smoking as early as the 1920s. Have a look at Tobaccoism: How Tobacco Kills (1922), by John H. Kellogg, M.D., LL.D., F.A.C.S., An Early Exposé which cna be found easily on the internet. Perhaps governments who've banned the sale and/or use of e-cigarettes should look at this and reconsider their decision? They might even consider registering tobacco smokers as drug addicts and allowing them to use e-cigarettes, the sale of which, of course, they'd control. There's no tax on nicotine - only tax on tobacco, so this would be one way of appeasing both governments and "vapers".

All of us smokers must put pressure on the governments of areas where the e-cigarette has been banned. As for me, I can't see myself visiting Singapore or HK anytime soon.

The Singapore Gov WANTED their obedience citizens to continue smoking their 500+% authority tax-levied tobacco cigarettes and contribute to Global warming via analog emissions. Applause to the Fascist regime of the Far East.

hi have been reading silently and decided to comment. i am a distributor in malaysia and currently there is a planning by the minister of health wanting to raid all of the local regisstered e cig companies. Heard a rumor that the ex minister, jimmy chua was payed 20mil to sort out tobacco issues at the parliament on behalf of the tobacco companies here. best way is to stay underground and stay away from the government linked peeps.

Only handful of internet-savy & adventurous MY and SG folks are into this e-ciggy thingy. Majority still preferred to warm the globe.

    Hi guys,

Just to let you know that my recent shipment has been unsuccessful. Got the "Health Science Authority" letter stating that the package will be sent for destruction if left unclaimed for 30 days. Have had gotten 2 shipments go through between November and December last year without any problem. Seems like they are more weary now or is it just my luck?

Got a m401 starter kit, some extra batts, usb passthough, 5 bottles of 20ml menthol ejuice; all via EMS and apparently I'm not getting them.

Is there anyway way I can get them locally? PM me k, thanks.

Destroyed if left unclaimed? Why don't you go claim it?

I bought my e-cig and sent it to malaysia and brought it in via a car.. Been vaping for 12 days and saved $136.80 ! Went to St james and walked pass the bouncer vaping.. Priceless!

Like what the fellow sillyporeans said.. They would rather you to buy their HIGHLY taxed cigarettes rather than a healthier alternative.. They even printed SDPC (Singapore Duty Paid Cigarettes) on cigarettes so they can conduct random checks on people and fine them..

    As quoted..
    "What are the Penalties?

Anyone caught selling, buying, or having in possession of duty unpaid cigarettes without the SDPC marking will be committing an offence under the Customs and GST Acts. For every packet of duty-unpaid cigarettes, buyers will be fined $500. Illegal peddlers will be arrested and charged in Court.Offenders will be fined or sent to jail or both. "

and for a healthier alternative.. here's what they would do..

"SINGAPORE, Dec. 23 (Xinhua) -- The Singapore's Health Sciences Authority (HSA) evicted 13 people for bringing in and selling the much-hyped e-cigarette, local media reported on Wednesday.

Among the 13 individuals investigated are four local suppliers who set up websites to hawk the product. The other nine ordered the device online from overseas suppliers, local newspaper The Straits Times reported.

Touted as a "healthy" way to beat rising cigarette prices and a widening ban on smoking here, the electronic cigarette comprises a cartridge of liquid nicotine inserted into a battery-operated steel tube. A heating coil vaporizes the nicotine into a fine mist, which is then inhaled.

The import and sale of e-cigarettes is illegal here because under anti-smoking laws, anything that resembles a tobacco product cannot be imported, sold, or offered for sale. If convicted, a person can be fined up to 5,000 Singapore dollars (3,496 U.S. dollars). "
