Each flammable liquid requires a different concentration of its vapour in air to sustain combustion. The flash point of a flammable liquid is the lowest temperature at which there can be enough flammable vapour to ignite, when an ignition source is applied.

ok from what is posted there, it looks like if it is not ignited, but only vaporized, then there appears to be no ill side effects. BUT, the flashpoint of PG is significantly low. much lower than the temperature of an atomizer. if the atomizer can be used as an ignition, there could be ill side effects, since the chemical alters composition and becomes other components.

glycerin looks to have a much higher flashpoint with a very high boiling point. if the atomizer does not reach these temperatures it looks like there will be no adverse side effects. and even if it combusts or reacts it shows no hazardous byproducts.

but do be sure to keep these out of the air as much as possible. it appears that they are easily oxidized. so keep those bottles capped.

hope this has been helpful

Hi all.. I can't post a URL until I've been around for 15 posts. Could I PM somebody with a URL to a conclusion on liquid nicotine from the U.S. National Library of Medicine and National Institutes of Health?

This post has probably been buried so I will bump it up. Anyone interested in posting this link for CaptainAmerica?

Here are a couple of links for Ruyan research

http://www.healthnz.co.nz/RuyanCartr...t30-Oct-08.pdf

http://www.healthnz.co.nz/ecig_effect-2.pdf

This is where information on the Ruyan research usually gets released first for anyone who wants to keep up to date - Health New Zealand Company News, electronic cigarettes

I'm not sure if this has been posted here yet but I'll post anyway. This is a link to the report on Wicked eliquid - http://www.tobaccoharmreduction.org/tox1.pdf

This is a report on Gamucci eliquid - http://www.ecigaretteschoice.com/GamucciLabStudy.pdf

And this is something to do with Ecopure - http://www.intellicig.com/images/pdf...2009-04-14.pdf
