Shirt : "FDA proves E-cig's at least 1000 times safer than traditional cigs, about as safe as the patch"
I wish someone, I don't care if it's the ECA or some guy that wants to make money - make a shirt with the lab report and numbers , compared to reg cig's and the patch and in big red letters something about the FDA's own test proving that the stuff in it is 1000 less than a reg cig, and about the same as the patch....and that was the BAD batch.
I would buy one or three if they looked half decent and had different info, or even diff colors. It would be sweet with references at the bottom.
Maybe a newpaper background or even contained in the newspaper graphic.
I dunno but someone make these please.
I'll update after I search and get the actual numbers, I think it was 7n something or other in the BAD batch of the ejuice and 7000n of it in cigarettes, and 7n in the patch.
or if anyone has it first please post

info you're looking for
http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/for...da-claims.html
This is from another post (link address above) that gives the details of the FDA report
more like about 150 times less than anal logs ... for 16 mg liquid
and just a bit under the amt in the NRT gum..
I like those numbers!!!! An awesome improvement over big tobacco's 'sanctioned' poison.
What about Nitrosamines? Nitrosamines are carcinogens. Tobacco specific nitrosamines (TSNAs) are found in the liquid used by Ruyan in their cartridges. According to the Health New Zealand report1, the amount increases with the amount of nicotine, and the average is 3.928 Ng (or parts per billion [ppb]). The breakdown is as follows:
Quote:
Nitrosamines
0mg - 0.260 Ng (ppb)
6mg - 3.068 Ng
11mg - 4.200 Ng
16mg - 8.183 Ng
The highest amount found was in 16mg liquid, which had an average of 8.183 Ng. In comparison, Nicorette Gum (which is approved as an NRT) contains about 8 Ng. To put that number into perspective, Swedish moist snuff contains between 1000 and 2400 ppb nitrosamines, and unburned tobacco from cigarettes contains around 1230 ppb.

Fine, how about
"FDA's test confirm; Electronic Cigarettes 15-30,000% safer than traditionals, about as harmless as Nicorette"
It would be cool if the shirt would give the impression that the FDA wanted it to come out that way, or at make people want to ask the FDA if that is true or learn more about it.
I dunno, I just think I'd rather wear and read a shirt like that then one that says "What the FDA doesn't want you to know" or "The FDA are liars".
I'd think conspiracy theory if I wasnt involved already or educated somehow.

It all about taxes and money, until the FDA can make money off of the ecig, or until a ecig manufacturer directly pays them for there approval they will not approve of this product. Why would they its safer for us. We all though the FDA was here to protect us, but clearly they allow and support a regular analog cigarette more than and ecig, and those have about 10,000 chemicals in them. LOL. we know the truth, keep vaping.

Why don't we just get straight to the point here:
"SAVE THE E-CIG!!!"
"FDA TRYING TO MURDER SMOKERS BY RETURNING THEM TO TOBACCO"
"CAUSE: MONEY,GREED,POWER,LIES!!!"
Or here's another Shirt:
"DON'T BELIEVE THE FDA's LIES ABOUT E-CIGS"
"THERE TRYING TO KILL YOUR LOVED ONES WHO SWITCHED FROM TOBACCO TO E-CIGS BY RETURNING THEM TO TOBACCO"
"SQAUSH THE LIES"
Then put this address on the shirt:

The FDA doesn't support cigarettes. They fought cigarettes tooth and nail for the past 40 years. What is really ticking me off in this whole thing is the conspiracy crap and how the FDA is choosing cigarettes over e-cigarettes.
No.
The FDA is saying they both contain hazardous chemicals. That's the bottom line. They're not choosing, taxing, or anything of the sort. If these things are bad for us, we better freaking listen or we'll all be whining and complaining about how e-cigs made our future children dumber because we vaped while pregnant.
Listen to the reports. I am glad to see reports coming out. It's not like the manufacturers spent any money to get a freaking report...the cheap bastards.
So, since the manufacturers *NEVER DID THEIR JOB*, the FDA has to get reports. I believe I said that the MFG's better start doing their damned jobs a year ago. Well, they didn't. They were busy making the profits...and as you can see by the report, some of them cut some corners to make that extra .002% profit but using bad liquid.
Come on..blame the manufacturers for not doing their damned homework. Don't blame the FDA for saying "Uh, guys, there *is* some bad stuff in some of these juices. You're going to have to be careful on what you're buying."

The point I would hope got across is "Look the FDA found stuff in e-cig's, but what they aren't telling you is what they found also is found in the gum at just about the same level and by their own finding they are WAY safer than traditionals. So whats the problem?"

I'd LOVE to see a Side by Chart with the FDA listings from E-cigarettes next to Cigarettes and an Approved NRT...
