Smoke51 ramps up
Smoke51 seems destined now to become a "player" in the e-cig market. This is not the same company we joked about months ago. It's popping up everywhere, has a great product and is ramping up its PR releases, such as this one today on the PR newswire.
Look around its site. I firmly believe -- and have for a long time now -- that this type of disposable is the future of e-smoking. It's the only product I could recommend to a tobacco retailer, a person who wants to stock 5-packs of cartridge/atomizers that he sells once a week, like a carton of cigarettes. No refilling, no mess, no fuss, no returns.
And note that Smoke51 is based in Miami, not like troubling LoongTotem or missing-in-action GreenCig.

The only thing I don't like about the Smoke51 model is... what if the user would like to drip smoke?
Is there a way to bypass the cartridge and reuse the atomizer if the user so wishes?

True to a certain extent, but its still a LoongTotem Re-Branded and now even more expensive.
EDIT: And I repeat for the 10th time ... Its not a true disposable when you still have to fiddle with charging batteries, worrying about them running out, or even trying to add your own fluid.
A true disposable offers a throw away battery, atomizer, and cartridge (entire unit) plain and simple. All LoongTotem does is cut out 1 thing, which is actually more inconvenient than refilling a used cartridge or dripping yourself.
just my $.02 cents ....

^The price is a tad over the top.

Cash is right plus also we still have crap batteries to deal with

Lol, Smoke51 is actually the first brand of ecig I read about and what got me hunting for cheaper ecig, eventually leading me to this forum.

At the end of the day, I have no desire to throw away my cell phone. I plug it in overnight, and it's ready to go the next day. Lasts all day. I want the same from an e-cig. I would be happy never again to have liquid all over my hands and a syringe on the table (I've stuck my finger twice with a needle that was dripping e-liquid). And I would be really happy if I never again faced a failing atomizer producing wimpy vapor.
No, this is exactly what I want. This is the consumer mass market product. It looks like a cigarette, will outsmoke anything out there maybe short of Trog's Screwdriver (haven't tried that one) and offers tastes and strengths in toss-'em cartridges. With this in a pack like the miserable Health E-Pack, I could go out on the town without carrying a tote bag of stuff to make it past 3 hours.
Don't you people demo your e-cigs. For me, everything seems fine until I explain the short battery charge-life and refilling carts and disassembling the unit. Eyes go blank right there! That's just a major turnoff that we pioneers accept as part of e-smoking evolution. But we have to get past the nuisances and unreliability issues if e-smoking is ever to have a chance of appealing to most consumers. My demos would be better received if I said I use a cartridge a day, toss it, plug in the battery overnight, and screw on a new cartridge in the morning. Now, that's convenience at a cost less than smoking a pack a day.
This disposable is not the end-all of e-cig development. But it is a needed interim to that end-all.

i like the LT concept. I wished it worked but their current model is a massive fail. as emp once said precisely - if they only sorted out their problems we would bite their fingers off.
-
I agree with TropicalBob... despite the price, I think the concept of integrated atomiser is the right step in the right direction, even though, apparently, the LT model is not yet perfect and has to be improved.

The smoke 51 has come out with new batteries that last even longer now and have a lot better switch and drag time. Also there is a large discount code that will get you a lot of money off their products. That code is dsc-142. It should get around 50 dollars off depending on what you buy.
