Exclamation Preparing for the Possible Ban on E-cigs

Guys, I've been reading about the WHO's discussion about e-smoking and I'm just as concerned as all of you.

To prepare for a possible ban on E-Cigs, I'm offering to collect and make available diagrams, plans and recipes for building/making a rudimentary e-cig and nicquid.

Lets face facts. Prohibition fails because people are willing to rebel and ignore the stupid laws passed by power mongering bureaucrats. I will NOT allow these fools to push us further into the shadows. I already have to leave bars, stand in alleys and the back of parking lots just to protect non-smokers. I'm still willing to do that, if I continue to indulge in analog cigarettes. However, no one has proven that e-cigs harm anyone, whether you're an user or a bystander.

I'm not asking anyone to jeopardize their livelihoods or themselves. Participation in this project is completely voluntary, but will be appreciated. Feel free to email me or PM me and I will make available my email address so you can send your ideas, plans and recipes. Thanks in advance!

Prohibition is the mother and father of crime and volience and the goverments and do gooders never learn. There are a bunch of smart people on this forum and I bet If there is a ban you will get all the help you need.

Extracting Nic is not hard to do. Just simmer in a pot of water for a while and let seep and condence down like in the old days they made tinturnes.

We need to learn how to repair our Adomizers because equipment will be our biggest problem.

It's bad enough being in a US where we could be on the verge of losing 2nd Amendment rights under a rabid anti-gun president; I couldn't contain myself if I lost the e-cig too.

Unfortunately I don't have technical expertise in this particular area, so I don't really have anything useful to contribute in the way of ideas. However, if it comes to the worst you've got my full support in doing whatever good I can for your cause. Keep me in mind.

Everything may work out with no bans of any kind, but I find it's always better to be prepared. There's a crude but accurate Irish proverb I've always been fond of : If you expect a kick in the nuts but get a slap in the face, it's a victory.

Hence I would rather have everything in order with the assumption they could do away with e-cigs entirely just in case. Better to have the info and not need it that to need it and not have it.

okay, well...could I be a member of this elite club. I will try and think of something to contribute. I figure there might be a close group that still can enjoy this hobby without problems.

Quoted for truth! I'm not 100% sure that there will be a ban. I think that, similar to analogs, they'll want to find a way to tax us to death and make e-smoking just as expensive as analog smoking. Any inconvenience to us would just be icing on the cake, seeing as we're nothing but filthy addicts anyway.

The best and most obvious way to protect e-smoking is to put as much information in the hands of as many people as possible. IOW, lets make construction and use of e-cigs so easy, that anyone can follow the plans to make one and brew up some nicquid.

I guess Dablackanarch would have to say on that, tho IMO everyone has something to contribute even if it's not initially apparent.

Trust me, everyone's input is welcome. I don't care what it is. Send me ideas, plans, recipes, thoughts....whatever! If a major ban should come down, we'll need everything we know about e-smoking in order to be able to replicate the tools and materials.

They can't ban the manufacture as long as there is a demand ! They still manufacture Guns dont they ? and look at the devastating damage they do to peoples health.

Worst case we can just buy up the millions of kits on the market and keep each other stocked up for the next 20 years ..
