Glad to see it worked, hopefully other states will acknowledge this, and not be influenced by big tobacco...

First of all, CONGRATULATIONS CALIFORNIANS!

Now that the congrats are over with, I want somebody to explain to me what e-cigarettes and e-liquid has to do with a program regarding alternative and renewable fuel and vehicle technology?

Talk about a leap! That's like throwing a bill regarding tax cuts for the American public in with a bill requiring all brown dogs under 10lbs to be spayed/neutered without question. It's a clear case of apples and oranges!

Who wrote this stupid bill? (Rhetorical question)... I'm just thankful that Arnold actually had the good sense to refuse to sign it (actually, I'm glad his wife, whom I am sure had a lot to do with this bill, pressured him into doing the right thing. - his wife is a democrat yet Arnold is a republican running and operating under a republican controlled office)

Either way, I'm glad somebody in office saw the idiotic writing on the wall and stood up to tell them not no but h*ll no! This just isn't happening.... If any bill reeked of pork barrel politics that one did.

Congratulations again Californians. I sent my note to Arnold to help you so I hope it did help. If NC should end up in the same firing seat, I hope as many come to our rescue. It's my feverant hope that given the upset in California other states will simply forgo trying to ban e-cigarettes but ASH and other idiots don't seem to realize how much they are stepping on our civil rights. It's okay for them to step on ours but we can't step on their's.

I am truly glad that you guys dodged a bullet the size of a nuclear missle. That's one battle down, now we have some leeway to hopefully win the war.

PS: I hate to say this but I was a bit concerned b/c Arnold has been pushing extensive exercises to be mandatory in every grade in every class from kindergarten through senior year for as long as I can remember. I was so afraid he would cave but I'm thankful he didn't. The old boy shocked me, that's for certain but I'm glad he did. I'm glad he put the desire and rights of the adults above the demands of the idiots.

I too sent a message to the governor even though I don't live in California. I just try to help whenever I can and like someone else here said, often what happens in CA often decides the fate of what happens in other states. Congrats CA!!!

Same here!!! I thought we were toast LOL. I had to skip to the end in hopes of a happy ending and whoooohoooo it was. Just like skipping to the end of a book cause you have to know the ending and cant wait and just read the book. CONGRATS CALI!!! Hopefully Arizona will follow but we dont have a cool smoking govenor who has TONS of his own money. We got standard issue sheep for politicians here. Thats just MY OPINION so please NO TRASHING me.
