Seriously, it pisses me off to no end that states are trying to ban this!

What dos Obama has to say about this? I'm very curious because hes a smoker.

What's next for banning? water??? are they going to ban that too? (I know very unlikely but my point is, if its healthy they don't want it, so it seems)It already upsets me that when I go to get a bite to eat and I ask for water I have to "pay for the cup"

They'll start banning the very air we breath next and if we can't afford to pay the exorbitant price, they'll just let us die. I am already paying an a d*amn arm and a leg for water, sewage, and trash pick up. The sewage costs more than double water the water costs, which is a bit ridiculous considering the fact that I'm paying a price for sewage at a rate 3x the amount of water I am USING! If it were say 1-1/2 % of the water I use I wouldn't have a problem with it but 3x the amount of water is ridiculous.

Much of this began during the former legislation so it doesn't surprise me. I've run across video where the former White House resident was drunk. He was of course functionally drunk but drunk nonetheless. Before anyone states this is impossible let me tell you that I lived with a drunk throughout my childhood and he was most certainly a functional drunk. He could work, drive, and do everything anyone else could despite the fact he was 3-sheets to the wind... I've known others in my day too but my birth father was the first person I knew who was a functional drunk.

I'm just waiting for the government to start hammering on alcohol the way they do cigarettes be they e-cigs or analog but then again alcohol, despite the damage and death it causes people not to mention the domestic abuse that often becomes deadly is allowed to go unchecked all because the government gets a huge kick-back on the sales. Better sales, more money for the government and to h#ll with the people who have to suffer at the hands of an alcoholic.

At least with e-cigs, we aren't hurting anyone, ourselves or those trash-talking ASH group that spout second-hand smoke...

    Default Governor's Veto

Didn't I read on another thread that the Governor of California vetoed the ban?

    So, California is good?

Per the office of the governator...

I am returning Senate Bill 400 without my signature.
While I support restricting access of electronic cigarettes to children under the age of 18, I
cannot sign a measure that also declares them a federally regulated drug when the matter is
currently being decided through pending litigation.
Items defined as “tobacco products” are legal for anyone over the age of 18. If adults want to
purchase and consume these products with an understanding of the associated health risks, they
should be able to do so unless and until federal law changes the legal status of these tobacco
    products.
For this reason, I am unable to sign this bill.
    Sincerely,
    Arnold Schwarzenegger
