    Done.
Where California goes, the nation soon follows. We are ALL in this together regardless of where we call home. One of my "converts" at work actually bought his e-cig at a truck stop while in California. He's a bricks-and-mortar kind of guy and buys nothing sight unseen. If the only place you could get an e-cig was online, he'd still be smoking 3 packs of analogs a day.
SB 400 would really screw people like him.
Even harder than he got screwed by that truck stop
(poke poke It wasn't really all that bad of a deal at least it wasn't an SE, and he's still using the cartridges he bought in bulk with it 6 months ago. )
I may still be an Addict, but at least I am no longer dying for a cigarette.

Cross your toes too... it doesn't just effect California brick & mortar stores - we've got some good online sources that will be hit with this ban.

Is anyone sending faxes? They're more likely to be read by the right people than email.

Almost all Indian Reservations are exempt from these laws.

The reason being is they are considered separate Nations that govern themselves. At least that's the way it was explained to me back in HighSchool (11+ years ago)

I'm hoping the First Nation people will recognize the opportunity and use the clout they possess, at least until the FDA issues some sort of restriction. I think the Natives still have to abide by federal law on their lands... Must look into this.

I wonder if Mexico will become the place to buy stuff. Heck, when I lived in the desert in California we would make runs to Tijuana for pharmaceuticals and saved huge amounts by doing so, like Amoxicillin at about 20% of the U.S. price. They're pretty liberal about that sort of thing down there. I would be willing to bet that they'll do the same thing for nicotine juice and e-cigs that they've done with pharmaceuticals: If it's a scheduled substance under U.S. law the Mexican pharmacy refers a customer to a doctor who, for a nominal amount, will write a prescription that will pass muster at Customs. In the late 90's you'd pay $10 to $20 for the doctor to "examine" you and write a scrip, then you'd go downstairs to the pharmacy to fill your scrip cheaply. This could be yet another reason to plan vacations to our neighbor to the south.

By treaty they are sovereign nations, but that doesn't stop governments from trying like heck to collect taxes from them anyway. Here in New York state, our government has been trying to pass legislation for years that would force reservations to collect state and federal taxes on all their gasoline and tobacco sales; this has been a huge controversy for quite some time as well as an anxious situation for those of us who buy products there. It seems like at least once a year the news in Buffalo (yes, i'm originally from Buffalo) would inform people that they are going to start collecting taxes soon, and native americans are always protesting.

The reason? Massive amounts of lost revenue from those who travel to the reservation just to buy gas and cigarettes; polls showed that about 60% of smokers in the Buffalo area buy their cigarettes on the res. New York state is apparently hurting so much for cash in spite of the common 8% sales tax around here and the cigs that cost $7 a pack that they "need" all those tax dollars being lost on the reservation and are willing to break treaties for it go figure

Con is against the bill...Pro is for the bill...

Sent mine in, once Cali goes, the rest of the states will follow shortly thereafter.
