Default A post to anger us!

American Chronicle | HOW TO QUIT SMOKING EVERY DAY

This "humorist" doesn't love e-smoking. Small snippet to insult us below:

Quote:
Iīve just watched the promotional video of four postprandial, smoke-free smokers in a fine restaurant, all smoking their smokeless smokes, sucking on their electro-butts and blowing out imaginary smoke like jittery suspects in a mad hatterīs holding cell interrogation.

Ever see a kid "smoke" a candy cigarette? Thatīs how youīll look as a grown-up.

Wow! Not even a try for him?

He must be an ex-smoker looking down his nose...

That guy spent more time trash talking e-cigs then anything else! All based on one promotional video and his battery "research". "Don't our mouths operate on water?" What an idiot. Your mouth obviously operates on bull.....!

Boy did he slam e-smoking. We should bombard his office with all the info he should have read.

Naw. He might get all excited. Better leave it up to the actual research that will be made public to make him look like a fool.

I think his reaction to e-smoking is a testament to the terrible marketing some companies use.

There are too many e-cig sites that just look plain dodgy. Their marketing practices reek of spam and are sometimes quite dishonest. Anyone with a brain who encounters some of these websites should be instantly sceptical. I can't blame the guy for having the wrong idea about e-smoking. But that doesn't mean I don't think he's an arrogant fool for not doing his research and getting all high and mighty.

It amazes me how the anti-smoking lobby have been so successful that they don't even bother with logic, evidence nor reason.

One would have thought a journalist might have a care for one of these three things but having "worked them"; i.e., fed them a line, I've come to know better. Many a time I told myself "they'll not swallow this!" Years ago I'd have edited a press release to attempt a better balance but later I didn't much bother - write a press release in the style they need, they copy it, don't research but just put their own names to it.

I did my job, they were happy getting copy in early and the public were misinformed.

Glad I don't do that kind of work any more.

Just read the article . . eh, he's harmless. Just trying to put words in front of other words to fill a column.
