New Zealand a sample of NJoy products,
South America a sample of Twisp/Janty products and technically not a study.

We need more research period, not the Twisp marketing campaign, but more in line with the NJoy effort. The last e-cig market anaysis guess-timated there were approximately 64 thousand different e-cigs available via the internet. People who count these many variations and rebranding have no clue that very few manufacturers are producing most of these products.

So the perception is: via the internet a glut of potentially hazardous devices are being brought ashore with little or no supervision from fly by night, off-shore entities, who are more than willing to make a quick buck off the American people.

That it isn't true never seems to be addressed. If the manufacturer initiated the appropriate studies each supplier could rely and refer to the manufacturer's investment in research. Only one has attempted to resolve this issue.

The thought is ludicrous.

His example must be one of a person who rose above addiction. Smoking, e or otherwise, ain't cool anymore; that's the only acceptable message a leader can send to a watchful nation. He's smart enough to know that.
Well said, but you're kind of a wet blanket at times..

A truer statement was never made! Don't piss off the man with the finger on the button!

I guarantee you that President Obama continues to smoke covertly. Actual cigarettes. In private and with trusted friends.

President Obama still smokes. Don't kid yourselves. But's he's "95 percent cured." Kinda like being a little bit pregnant. But don't look for him to do anything to help vapers or smokers. He's far too hypocritical for that. He'll continue to be a closet smoker instead while talking (exhaling) out the other side of his mouth and gaining what political advantage is to be had from it.

Believe it or not, the title 'President' is only that. A title. You don't shift into an alternate universe governed by alternate laws of being after being inaugorated as President of the USA. President Obama is just the same as all the other flawed human beings he governs. He is entitled to be a smoker too. Or even a vaper. If he chooses to be. Or if addiction dictates.

I don't know how Obama feels about vaping, but he's the one who signed the flavored tobacco ban into new law and once the FDA is granted authority over e-cigs they'll ban flavored juices too. I guess we, as adults, aren't allowed to enjoy sweet and fruity flavors.
It's BS...This county is not free, our rights are being taken away one by one. We are ceasing to be "the land of the free" and becoming "communist America", being told what we can legally enjoy by the FDA Nazi's.

Can anyone imagine a President of the United States using a Cuban cigar to inhale smoke into his body flavored with unregulated (albeit domestic) juice without known quality control, batch testing, etc., in defiance of the vows made to his partner, and setting an example of a helpless addict who cannot control even the most rudimentary of behaviors?

Seriously though, I think you're right TB, I don't see President Obama going there.

We have more power to effect the attitudes of our local and state governments than we do the White House. Getting angry at the feds seems counter productive when that energy would be better spent lobbying locally.

Which is why California is the closest state to legalizing marijuana. They get the work done by petitioning their reps that are closer to them than The White House.
