Hahaa a few days ago I would have jumped on that kind offer mate
Unfortunately I'm now in a situation where I have to ration my depleting supplies. If my first shipment from China (the land of freedom LOL ) gets through in about a month, I'll chase it up though
Ed: I like it, for low nicotine doses it's a sure thing.

Thanks Di, there's a lot of hurdles to get over with this but as you know, I've started the ball rolling by registering the name and having some prototypes made up in the factory.
By the way, some idea of what to expect from nicorette...
They sell a starter kit in most pharmacies around Australia for AUD $6.90 consisting of a plastic case, 1x Inhaler & 6x 10mg cartridges.
A refill kit sells for AUD $39 and consists of 1x inhaler, 42 cartridges and no case.
The idea would be for the user to actually purchase this (the government regulated nicotine) themselves when required from their own pharmacy.
The concept as a retailer of this would be to not supply any unregulated nicotine or a device that could be used with unregulated nicotine.

I know what you mean Ivan, when the dose get's too low it's not fun.
In my experience with the inhaler, I managed to cut down to only 1x 10mg cartridge in a day, I started to really get jittery and over analytical. Especially by the end of the night.
It was fine for me when I first started on 6 cartridges a day (60mg) but I was keen to cut down.
If what I've read was correct, regardless of the MG of Tar in an analogue, the average nicotine per smoke is 1mg?
It certainly substituted my pack of horizon menthol yellow 50's (around $17-$18 per pack at the time) with a good nic fix and worked out to an average of $6.50 per day.
But I really hated the clinical taste and missed my smoke rings!

Ed, I've been reading a lot of legal stuff today, and came across this. You might want to check it out:
THERAPEUTIC GOODS ACT 1989 - SECT 42T Notifying of actual or potential tampering
I'm not sure if the device you're talking about would be considered to be "tampering with therapeutic goods". If you're just selling the device and allowing people to do their own 'tampering', you might be in the clear. Either way, I'd suggest talking to a lawyer before going ahead with it.

Good advice Luke, that's definitely one of the hurdles to overcome.
It would still allow a user vape 0 nic without a nicorette cartridge used or supplied but then that also begs the question of how to provide it so that only 0 nic could be used.
If it's seen as a delivery method for "unregulated" nicotine it would be banned as well.
I guess a loose analogy is that printer cartridges are marketed & sold without an obvious means to refill them (ie label over the refilling holes and no refilling kit supplied).
Perhaps that methodology could lend weight to the argument?

The problem is to get the goverments to allow the device per se without nicotine, for a lot of people is not only the nicotine craving the 100% of the adiction, the hand to mouth action+inhaling slowly and exhaling+the flavor+the visual efect of the "smoke" dancing around+the nicotine, makes from my point of view the 100% of the adiction, a friend of mine quit nicotine using patches and e-vaporizer with 0% nic, now she is free of nicotine and she still vapes (she is not a criminal, here you can use it, but can't import or produce it :S).

I think banning e-cigs because they contain nicotine is pretty stupid. I think ecigs are immediately condemned because it looks just like smoking regular cigarettes, and it seems to go against the bans that have already been enacted to combat cigarettes. Nicotine doesn't appear to cause any health concerns greater than those also caused by things like food high in cholesterol or fat. What's next, banning overeating? banning energy drinks? Sure it's poisonous in certain quantities, but so are a lot of products that are already in our houses.

I can't believe this ****, how can they ban something like e-cigarettes when cancer causing cigarettes are permitted? It just doesn't make sense.
