What Will You Do If Ecigs Become Regulated And Taxed?

I believe most of us would return to analogs in the case of a ban on all components of vaping. However, if the government of your country steps into regulate and tax our vaping, what will you do?

Reason: "becoming?" seriously..someone should have said something. lol

Provided the Taxation is less than analogs ( as it should be , if only half the benefits of vaping turn out to be true) then I would def stick to vaping.
however as I have been a criminal now for 31 minutes ( as an aussie in possession of e-cigs and a schedule 7 poison ) I am thinking it might be time for Guy Fawkes Part II..... for all you non history buffs , he's the guy who tried to blow up the houses of parliament in england in 1605 with 36 barrels of gunpowder

I'm going to stick with vaping. I'm used to paying almost 8 bucks for a pack of cigs, so to go back to that isn't really a great option for me lol. Plus my health is worth the extra dough.

I figure I should chime in on my own poll. I would definitely stick to vaping but would probably start making my own liquid to curb the cost a wee bit.

I'd keep going as I am now and I'm working my way down on nicotine anyway. So I'd hope by the time this happened, I'd either be really low or off it and I doubt they can justify taxing the hell out of VG and Lorann flavors.
-
I voted other.
I am seriously considering getting 5x30ml bottles of max strength juice. Got some VG, menthol crystals and some droppper bottles coming. Just need to find out what lorann flavours are good to mix and thin the juice down. I think I can go to about 10mg for general vape.
If it was taxed and still needed to vape nic after it has gone I would pay more for it as long as it wasn't really jacked up in price. I would presume the same action will be taken in the UK as has been thrust upon our Australian vaping buddies.
Last resort would be vaping vg+flavour, won't bother trying extraction. Don't want to go back to analogs

even after only 9 votes, i'm pleasantly surprised that no one has voted to return to analogs. granted, some of our members that vape and smoke haven't voted yet...heh.
this goes to show, however, how marvelous these little devices are. not only have they helped some of us quit they've actually changed our perception and helped us to commit to staying quit.

I will continue ordering my hardware and maybe eliquid from Steve. If Steve gets busted there are plenty willing to risk a prison break. Steve is like a friend who you can talk to at any time, without getting dressed (some like to get dressed up before Steve-chats, up to you), and if you pass out on the keyboard he wont even hold it against you next time you chat, oh the love <3

I voted for others. I figured just like analogs, once taxed, there're gonna be parralel imports, smuggled goods etc and i'll get my hands on them. Just a thought though...

Wow it's like when the US tried to prohibit alcohol, overnight a whole group of once law-abiding citizens have become criminals for something that was perfectly acceptable the day before, and organized smuggling and distribution networks went into operation, followed shortly by threats on government buildings and the new "criminals" stockpiling weapons to protect the trade. This is smaller scale but if other governments do the same without providing some alternative other than analogs and gum, it could become a worldwide smuggling operation, and plenty of inexperienced people will be trying to make their own, which will result in somebody spilling their concentrated nicotine extract on themselves and being hospitalized or worse (not to mention if he lives he is now in jail for manufacturing a controlled substance). Unfortunately we don't have the sheer numbers that the alcohol supporters did, so our chances of the governments repealing the law are slim to none. Hang in there though, with any luck you will soon have an over-priced, less tasty, and less flashy/convenient version you can buy with a prescription.
