Default US Consumer Product Safety Commission

Could this be the US government agency we need?

http://www.cpsc.gov/

Seems to me the FDA doesn't want it because it's not a drug, actually they want it so they can deny it as a new drug.
BATFE doesn't want it because it doesn't have tobacco leaf in it.

Instead of pressing the FDA to regulated it, which will only mean they regulate it out of the country, why not Consumer Safety?

But before people go off half cocked and flood them with letters let's think this through. We don't need another agency looking to shut us down.

Is this agency rational? They are the ones that have kid needing to wear helmets to ride bicycles aren't they?
And they're having to revise a law they just made which included knitting for your grandkid as products which need tested to be given to anyone under age 12.

They're going to balk when they see nicotine. Tobacco and alcohol is not theirs. Food and drugs are not theirs. So I don't think pushing the nicotine part would get anywhere.
But the non-nicotine carts should be like a personal party fogger, except on that you inhale directly into your lungs.
They could at least test what the materials the atomizers are made of and make sure the ingredients beyond what is in normal foggers are safe.
