The FDA case failed in the state supreme court. As for the e-cigarette ban. that will take effect. But not right away. It becomes enforceable 180 days after the bill passed. Remember the runny egg law. Hope this one joins it. But ether way, I personally will continue to vape and give all the morons in Trenton a good old fashion Jersey Salute wile I vape.

This is insane, how can I live in a state run by such morons...
This is by far the worst state in the union because of all the crap we have to deael with. And besides Corzine, U.S. Sen. Frank Lautenberg is the biggest jerk around . None of these polititians have any clue nor do they even care. It makes me sick. We'd all be better off in Bum Idaho.

I'm still vaping! SCREW THIS STATE AND ALL THE ASSES THAT RUN IT!
They know exactly what they're doing. It's either peoples health for $0.00 or it's Big tabacco campaign contributions (which now have no limit as of court ruling) plus the tax dollars the state makes and keeps increasing from tabacco sales. It's a no brainer. Just remember this at election time.

ya im still vaping at my job. i was told just "dont vape in the front," which i still do. in fact my boss smokes and now wants to get a PV . when i called the govoners office they said we have to basicly bombard Vitale, and Gordon, with e-mails, calls, and letters. my vote is the latter due to mail can clutter there inboxes. now my question is. is there a petition in the works? also i think we need more lobbyists.

I don't think it would fly for me, because I work a helpdesk and have sometimes people sitting right next to me, in an enclosed room. Our old boss probably would have been okay with it since he was a smoker himself, but our new one isn't.

I probably will talk to my boss about it when I am fully switched over to using the PV, call it an "electronic nicotine inhaler", and ask if we are very short-staffed (sometimes I'm the only one in the room!) if I could use it at the desk. I work nights so we wouldn't have customers in the building, and if I'm alone up there at night I can see the boss realizing it would increase my productivity to not have to get up to go vape.

But I have coworkers with sensitive noses and allergies... They'll be thrilled that I won't smell like smoke when I enter the room, but they might not want to smell the vapor if I did it in the room. (I've been told some of the stronger flavors make the air smell like the flavor tastes, and if they're sensitive to it I wouldn't want to cause them a problem.)

Doesn't make sense. Don't they have to provide REASONS for wanting to implement such bans?

What could they possible have as a reason that using PVs in public places should be prohibited? Who does it harm? The fact that PVs don't emit any harmful second hand ingredients at all, just makes me wonder how these people can actually pass a bill like this with no justification whatsoever.

All in all, I'm not stressed, just majorly bummed. However, still a happy camper none the less. I still vape at my desk and in the bowling alley. No one complains. Those that do complain, complain to me and are only joking because they know what it is. Lots of people ask and I explain. Lots of interest, and several converts too!

WE WILL NOT BE SHUT DOWN!

    VAPE ON!!!

Currently using Joye 510, V4L Vapor King, GC G300

    @Moriah

If you're working nights and paranoid about any lingering smell (which is next to nothing by all accounts), try this:

-Buy a candy bowl and stock it with Werther's candies
-Vape a DIY blend of LorAnn's Butter Rum (squeeeeeeeee!)

So far, that's been doing a great job of covering my tracks when I'm stealth-vaping at my desk.

I do remember the gooshy egg law- bastards. Waah, you might get samonella, waah we're only protecting you from yourself. Won't someone think of the children and protect them from the gooshy yellow menace.
It didn't stop me from runny eggs and it sure as hell won't keep me vaping [and forking over $6/pk in state taxes]

Apparently they weren't as proud of their crusade as they once were. The video has been removed. Is this an election year for them?
