Hey! I just moved here from Forked River about 3 years ago. I used to love FR. We lived there over 20 years. Now I'm in Pomona, near Stockton College.

At any rate, we threw out Corzine and we can throw out the rest of them too. I registered to vote for the first time ever last year, due to my disgust with this state's and country's government. And I know many others who have done the same thing and share my disgust.

It takes what it takes to get us moving. The taxpayers are fed up all over the state/country. Remember him when it's time to vote! I certainly will.

Debbie

Maybe if you registered to vote a long time ago, you wouldn't be so disgusted, huh?

Christ these bills/laws are stupid, espically that white paper TheBoogieman posted.

By the definition of that paper, all smoke machines in clubs/bars etc should also be banned as smoke machines operate on the same exact principle as a e-cig, they take PG or VG, run them through a heated coil to produce "smoke" which is technically PG or VG vapor.

If they consider PG or VG VAPOR as smoke, then even hot water kettles should be banned, as when boiling water they emit "smoke" by their definition.

Sounds like anyone who gets fined/arrested/kicked out of a public place should easily get a judge to throw all this junk out the window...

Needs more edit button...

Forgot to clarify on the fog machine thing, since they use PG/VG liquid, they could easily be filled with e-liquid/have nicotine added making a VERY big "smoking device"

also, the mention of carcinogens is ridiculous PG and VG are generally recognised as safe by the FDA, and carcinogens in the e-liquid or carcinogens in the atomisers/cartridge plastic itself is an issue with the manufacturers.
By their logic, all cars should be banned simply because Toyota brand cars can develop a sticking gas pedal....
IMO, the MOST they should be pushing for is regulatory laws on e-cigs to make sure that they are safe.
More than anything they should regulate the importation of chinese e-liquid as I have the feeling that the 0mg liquids they tested that tested positive for nicotine were either from unscrupulous manufacturers, or they were stupid and used the same atomizer without properly cleaning it before each test.

Oh, and don't even get me started about how stupid the "e-cigs are drug delivery systems" clause in there... by their own standards, they should have redefined regular cigarettes as "regulated drug delivery devices" as while very crude, a cigarette/pipe/cigar etc are all delivering nicotine into your body...

Hooray for stupid people making the world suck for the rest of us by ignoring facts and basing all their decisions on "morals" and half-truths.

All the more reason we need more advocates at the local and state level. Vocalek was succesful in getting to Utah's representatives and having them listen. Voters carry more weight than any of the rest of us (in CASAA or anywhere else) I used to live in Freehold, NJ and tried to rally support from some old neighbors there.
