Default This is what the Tories think of e-cigs

This is the 'understanding' of the shadow health secretary:

I understand that the intention of the law is
to prohibit the use of anything which is lit and capable of being
inhaled. These electronic cigarettes do appear to be 'lit' by a charging
device and are smoked, that is, inhaled.

I hope that this explanation provides some clarity, although it remains
the role of the Department of Health to stipulate the legality or
    illegality of this device.

well,we all know what this killjoy bunch of idiots we call the government will do with ecigs...

the biggest nanny state in the "free" world will not say-

"oh well, people are enjoying them, and theyre relatively harmless, lets leave them alone to enjoy their vaping"...

itll probably be banned or else greatly taxed and regulated...and possibly have the same social restrictions placed on them as fags...even though they have no second hand smoke-it will offend the antis, who wield the power of indignation...we esmokers as a group have no power or platform at the moment.

i'll be pleasantly surprised if it turns out differently.
