"Every piece of evidence we have" is Anecdotal and is not Scientific Evidence which is required by The FDA or any other Regulatory Body.
You cannot prove Scientificly any of the claims made within the walls of this Internet Forum and until you can, you cannot use these claims as "proof" no matter what You or I think or believe.

Also if you read Everything on this Forum you will also find a lot of Information which indicates that our Devices and Liquid are not as safe as the Manufacturer's would have us believe.

We are after all dealing with a very dangerous Drug which if misused can be Fatal.
    hi mate,

look, i have no wish to be falling out with you over this! i know why you are critising what i wrote but i do think you have misunderstood my point. i wrote this in my reply to bob but will write it again as i think it also apllies when replying to you

"i do fully understand the reasons why its very important for suppliers to advertise e-cigs in a very carefull manner. i do fully understand that nothing e-cig related has ever been medically or scientifically proven. i never meant to imply it had been. i only ever meant to point out that pretty much everyone of us on here has experienced all the positive apects of e-cigs with regards to cutting down, totally quitting and improved health.

but i do fully accept that no matter how many people say it, its worthless without the scientific and medical proof to back it up. i should have made that clearer in my original post so i apologise to everyone on here!"

i hope that clears things up and we can move on.

    cheers,

    scott

Life was so much less worrying before we had all these 'health' scientists telling us what might kill us.............I can't even eat a Mcdonalds now or put salt and vinegar on my fish and chips without feeling like I am committing suicide.

From a realistic (or surrealistic) point of view we all are committing suicide, everytime we breath the oxigen is oxidating our bodies we like it or not, weird thing life is... just enjoy the ride I say.

I once saw a cartoon of a guy jumping for joy.....then another guy comes along and tells him off.....then in the next cartoon you see him sitting in the gutter with a big cloud over his head reading the Newspaper.

Yes we should all enjoy the ride more and stop worrying.

I have noticed that all of the antis I have seen that are against PVDs have very little knowledge of them. Most think that they contain tobacco even the one in question. The ones I have talked to were usually appalled at first sight. But, once I explained the device to them (giving the good side and the bad) they changed their opinion completely. And usually congratulating me on not smoking analogs or thanking me. I think we need to educate the antis and make them into supporters!

I agree... I have had many conversations online and offline with some seriously far fringe anti-smokers and they have all been quite interested in the e-cig. Once they understand what it really is, they find them reasonable.

This is something that RTV has been working on... a statement that can be forwarded to people like this woman who wrote the post on the e-cig for her anti-smoking group. Statement to interested individuals and groups

    Damage control.
