Must have been a SLOW news days when this article was written.
News flash: Guy died from smoking 3 packs a day!
Gee..I didnt know smoking can cause cancer...maybe if this was written in the 50's it would have more impact.
Obama never promises that he will not smoke. He artfully avoids the subject, and I find that a good thing. It is absolutely NONE of our business if he chooses to smoke or not. I wonder if he thought of returning a picture of both of his parents who died young with his note. Neither of them died of smoking related diseases. I hate these heart-tugging attempts to control. Many of us have had relatives die young. My father did; my grandmother did. Neither were smokers. Neither were exposed to shs. Yet they died early. Still, I would not write the President asking him to stop eating meat to avoid colon cancer.

To a newpaper or tv channel bad news is good news. The more tears they can drag out of someone on tv the better the story. I have seen reporters pratically grab and shake a sob out a person.
I am a little sick of people using Children to justify their desire to tell me what to do when I am not bothering them and I pay for my own health insurance, with my hard earned money.
actions speak louder than words, do a iittle everyday to save our PV's
