That's kind of the argument I was making on importing. If you import the e-cig "sans cartridges" would it not be considered a legal device?

    Hi Sun

With you on the nic. Back in the goldrush days I ordered everything in one big parcel to cut down carriage costs. In these days of seizures* it's a false economy and I order my juice separately. I might be tempted to bag a starter kit if a new model takes my fancy but I'd try to source that inside the UK (or EU) for as long as we're still able to.

    Emp

*of kit, not big gov/tobacco/pharmacy induced apoplexy!

the qty. POed were just 1 side of the equation,
but do you have a science based number or a vague estimate.

Yes, you're right-- he is a supporter of the Waxman bill because he's for regulation everywhere and everyplace. And, he's for higher taxes, as well.

Really, though, the Waxman bill also includes the Open Fuel Standard Act which is supported by both parties. It supports alternative energy creation and a market for those alternative energy sources and gets Obama off the hook for overturning last year's decision to open up offshore drilling. This bill gets the subject off the table for the rest of the term.

He most likely is. He was a supporter of the similar version of the bill that was being worked on last year, the same bill that Bush publicly said he would not sign.

Actually, the number is quite a bit higher than that. I've held off on anything over 500 units for just this reason. If the supply chain were safer, we'd be in 75 discount tobacco stores here in the southeast. I got burned on trying to supply SuperCigs a few months ago and swore I wouldn't try again until we had:

    1. A more secure order process.
    2. At least 2500 units of whatever model we chose to run with.

After a lot of R&D, we decided on the 510, three shipments toward meeting our second goal we got slapped by our first FDA hold. Now we sell only online. It's a pity, I had been really looking forward to rolling out wholesale to brick and morter retailers.

Hopefully, SE can take the legal and financial brunt of fighting for a stay of execution for the e-cig industry in general until we users can establish enough of a lobby so that we don't come off as kooks playing with their novelty toys.
