^ Spikey also has quite a bit of info gathered up (the NZ study, etc) what with the battle in Suffolk County.
We need to help track down the links for the OP. Since KATU would like studies and haven't been sent any.

Glad they're sounding fairly open-minded about it so far. Can't wait to see the report!
Thank you for all of your input so far. I have sent her links to the New Zealand study, as well as a link to the boards here. Anything else that I am missing?
On the question of specific studies: For the time being, no scientific studies on ecigs have been published. However, clinical trials have been done or are known to be undertaken by several groups. This includes: (1.) The group around M. Laugesen (Health New Zealand), an outspoken proponent, studied various aspects on ecigs, results of the first clinical trial were presented at SRNT 2009 conference. (2.) A group closer to the US health establishment is presently running an extended clinical trial. Leading investigator is apparently T. Eissenberg (Virginia Commonwealth University), was featured in several news articles, not shy to the media. (3.) According to great posts of user redrose in this forum, there is also a group at the Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center which is actively investigating ecigs (but apparently prefers to stay away from the media). (4.) AMA just announced an intention to study ecigs, but nothing substantial yet.
Ruyan did a nicotine study as mentioned spikey has a ton of stuff
Durd, here's the link to the web page Spikey put together with links to a lot of the existing research, and to the experts we'd want the KATU people to see/contact:
