E-cigarette ads to be banned on Ebay?
According to this seller's post, Ebay is banning e-cigarette sales as of the end of June:
E Cig smoke juice recipe - eBay (item 140323995590 end time Jun-29-09 05:53:22 PDT)
Does anyone have confirmation that Ebay is indeed planning to ban e-cigarette sales?

E-cigarettes
From 30th June 2009, electronic cigarettes or e-cigarettes will be banned from sale on eBay.co.uk and eBay.ie. This ban will enable ebay.co.uk and ebay.ie to have consistent policies with other eBay sites throughout Europe. The ban also includes any listing of component parts (including but not limited to): cartridges, atomisers, liquid refills, vaporisers, batteries and shells. Full details of this policy will be available on 30th June
Yes, I did double-post, b/c I didn't know where this topic belongs.
I cannot believe that Ebay is actually doing this! What is their justification?!

I suppose there justification is because nothing sold has being legislated as yet so covering themselves?

But ban apparently does not extend to Ebay.com (U.S. site). Why would they specifically target Europe?

I would imagine, because you must be 18 to buy, there's really no age verification system in place for eBay I don't think.

I'm confused.....I thought they'd been banned on eBay's U.S. site for awhile now
