From what I have been reading, Adam, you are giving it a good try. Can't ask for more than that. Eight suppliers are better than no suppliers and I think that as the ball gets rolling, more will want to join in.
I'm sure there are many suppliers who will just get all that they can, while they can and then move on to something else. That's the way it is in a new venture, plenty of "shake out", before things settle down.
Don't be disappointed. Personally I think that 8 suppliers willing to join in and of course SE and NJoy and now there are 10 suppliers in the lawsuit, is pretty good!!

What do you think about that?
Adam, welcome to the world of ecig advocacy. There will be 1,200 posts about "someone should do something" and when you try to get it rolling, all but a handful of those people sit on their hands. It IS very frustrating - and infuriating!!
Sun pointed to CASAA as possibly being an answer, but we can't do anything without member participation.
On that note, a private forum for suppliers has been set up at CASAA for advocacy discussion. Any suppliers who want to be involved, join CASAA and go to the forum and join the forum. PM me or another mod and we'll add you to the retailers group to access the forum.

I suspect that when more suppliers start getting their shipments seized, more will join in.
But it would be better for all of us, suppliers and customers, if it doesn't have to come to that.
Unfortunately, it seems that to join in, you need to have damages, either actual or imminent.
Which means you have to have some shipments seized.
Or you have to have documentation from the FDA that they WILL seize your shipments.
But I think joining in to help defray the costs would be a good idea before any of the above happens.
But that requires forward thinking, and a bit of extra money to spare.
I hope as many suppliers as possible join in as soon as possible.

Having been heavily involved in politics for the last 2+ years, and trying to get a neighborhood watch group together for the past year, I can tell you that the default attitude of Americans is apathy.

I see three possible solutions.
1) The 58+ suppliers need to step up and join Adam and CASAA to take on the FDA
2) the suppliers and us comsumers start buying through Njoy and SE (I'm sure they will love that and possibly that is their intention) since they are the ones that can get anything they want through customs from China.
3) some American manufacturer develops their own e-cig equipment including atomizers or buy the rights from China to manufacture China's products right here in the US. Then the FDA can't do squat.
But any and all of the above need to happen FAST!

I am wondering if there is a dedicated legal defense fund I could donate to?

You just have to read the story of the FDA vs The Life Extension Foundation to understand the extent that they will go to in getting their way. After all, they are fighting with you're money.
If I were a supplier and in this business for the long run, I would certainly want to gain the protection that the court ruling could afford me. This process appears to be a long one. I'd certainly want protection from their divide and conquer approach.

Sun... or somebody...
Can the ECF do this on behalf of its supplier members? Join in the lawsuit on their behalf? After all, it *is* a supplier organization, isn't it?

mBolack--ECF does not sell e-cigs and is not affiliated with any Supplier, rather it is a Forum for discussion, so it would not have standing to intervene into the this litigation.
