The difference is in that case it was the defendant encouraging an email flood to the judges on a blog/website of his. Here, it is concerned citizens that will be directly affected by the outcome.

JFK was even more notorious than Bill for his cigar smoking. Just before JFK signed the Cuban embargo, he sent Salinger out to buy him at least 1000 H. Upmann Petit Cuban cigars. When Salinger returned with the Cuban cigars, then JFK signed the embargo.

Based on the article about Obama and "A panel to advise the FDA on tobacco issues" who are anti-electronic cigarette and have financial reasons not to like electronic cigarettes. Doesn't it make sense since the taxpayers are probably paying for it- that we protest/petition this and ask for a unbiased group specifically those without a vested interest in it's outcome?

Today the Court took no action on the case. How long we will have to wait is anyone's guess. Calling this an Administrative Stay while this much time has elapsed is really pushing the limits and prejudicing SE, but Judge Leon did the exact same thing and it was a home run for SE. I think we are tracking the same path.
