FDA Analysis Finds Toxins, Carcinogens in Electronic Cigarettes -- AAFP News Now -- American Academy of Family Physicians

i thought this was a good article for you to read.

Just this, nothing else. All three times from a bogus email address. Checking full headers, someone paid a spamhouse operation to send it through a botnet. Looks like someone is playing very dirty. Anybody else get one of these? I'm wondering where they farmed the particular email address I received all three from. It isn't one of my usual ones.

Evidently the group is correcting the problem because the site is down for technical problems. The anti-anything groups stop at nothing to spread propaganda.

This tells me one thing. If they have to resort to SPAM, then we must be doing something right in spreading the truth.
If those bastards start sending ME spam, all Hell will break loose.

NO! It's because it would really make us look bad. Let them have their little spam fun. In the end they will be the ones that look bad.

I hate unsolicited emails and get angry at the sender. Love the PR campaign of truth Big Jim, keep up the good job!

Moonport productions' only source of info is this thread, but somehow the story the OP posted has transformed on their site into a case of millions of people being spammed by anti-smoking groups. They even failed to post a link to the article that was being spammed. Who are these clowns?
Presumably the article was spammed by Quitnet as they are referenced at the bottom of the piece. They seem to be a business dedicated to quitting smoking and probably dodgy. Plenty of these around. How they make money or whether they shill for certain products, I don't know. Scanning their sites and those of their mother company 'Healthways' - it seems they try to make money from various health-support orientated programs people can pay to enter into that cost so much a month.
Regardless, it's hardly related to the pharmaceutical industry or the FDA much as moonport would like to insinuate. They are merely using the news as a vehicle to spread their spam.

I never stated for ONE SECOND that the FDA or the Pharmaceutical Groups "spammed" people. I said "Anti Smoking Group". I suggest re-reading the article.
And where is Quitnet mentioned?

The OP's original post links to the article that is being spammed.

It is his post that is cited in moonport's article as evidence that 'millions of people received a spam text' but they failed to include the link to the article that was being spammed.
At the bottom of that article is a link to quitnet.

I never said you did. I said Moonport insinuates that the FDA or Big Pharm had something to do with the spam.
It is hard to imagine the depths in which people stoop to deliver misinformation, as it did happen today as millions of Americans received this e-mail regarding Food and Drug Administration’s report regarding the toxins found in electronic cigarettes.
It is for this that I believe, as a reporter, that we are doing something right in spreading the truth. We may not have deep pockets like the
FDA, but we have something that they don’t, the truth.
If they believe for one minute that they are going to stop the truth, then they are sadly mistaken. But we don’t need to stoop to the levels of spamming people like this antismoking group apparently seemed to gladly do.....etc
