As far as I am concerned, I feel for you guys over there. You are ruled by a bunch of totalitarian scumwads.
On the other hand we as individuals can mix our own flavors into the VG/PG. They don't need to be sold with flavors.

But Nanny Peggy and her SS soldiers know what is best for us!

Out of that whole list, I have only ever heard of clove cigarettes. Are there really strawberry-flavored tobacco cigarettes? I have never seen or heard tell of them.

Does this apply to pipe tobacco and Skoal? Those are the ones that would use flavors, aren't they?

Lord, deliver us from these nimrods.

    From the FDA Letter:

This standard applies to all tobacco products that meet the definition of a “cigarette” in section 900(3) of the Act even if they are not labeled as “cigarettes” or are labeled as cigars or as some other product.

Anybody have a link to the full text of the act, as finally passed?

My daughter just said something about the paper in Camel cigs has been changed, neither of us knew what the idea was, but she did say it changed the flavor of the cigarette very drastically. She's now working with a 901, bless her heart, so is not too concerned anymore. But yes things are a-changing, that's what we wanted, right.....
    Scared yet? I am.

Your right theres flavouring in them.

I guess this covers flavoured Tips for rolling your own. Will this cover Herbal cigarettes then?

That's true, but you should have the choice. I can never seem to replicate the available e-liquids. The experience isn't the same with Loranns and a base liquid, although I agree that it could be done with a big enough 'library' of flavors.
My gripe is that it shouldn't even be an issue. This discussion shouldn't even be taking place in a free society.

I am also a bit confused by this. All the literature says flavored tobacco and flavored cigarettes... but does that include (as the above poster asked) bulk flavored tobacco? What about flavored pipe tobacco?

Will they allow the flavorings and the tobacco to be sold seperately?

I used to smoke Djarum's and Dreams here and there. Vanilla, Cherry, Chocolate, Blacks, Bali Hai... mmm bali hai. These days I have moved back over to 80% cigarettes and 20% e-cig.

Would hate to see some of the interesting tobacco flavors dissapear within the next two weeks.

I've started to stock up a little bit on flavored rolling papers as it seems those are going to be dissapearing as well.

This **** is really getting ridiculous. How can they ban FLAVORED PAPER!? That to me is ****ing insanity.

I feel completely powerless to change any of this crap.

    Sucks.

    Afraid for e-cigs.

I know y'all like to scream from the rooftops and whatnot, so I am glad to be here to balance that

Mint Flavor, erm, I mean "Menthol" has a one-year reprieve. They will likely ban menthol next fall unless BigCig can convince them The Children™ have a distain for it or one of the Anti-Smoking groups call them on their BS

    "Menthol" not a flavor, lol

Yeah no, the didn't *completely* get away with that; it comes up again next year for review.
