    Summary of Results: Laboratory Analysis of Electronic Cigarettes Conducted By FDA

    Final Report is here;

    http://www.fda.gov/downloads/Drugs/S.../UCM173250.pdf

    The ABC story is well-- not fit for human consumption;

    Real facts;

    -Only 1 cart tested had 1% DG.
    -The FDA knows exactly what is in these carts (It is in the report)....
    -E-cigs come in 2, 3, or 4 part designs- and not just 3 part designs.
    -E-cigs, as far as I know, aren't made by big tobacco companies.
    -Purchasing pre-filled NJoy and SE brand carts is more expensive than buying generic cigarettes by the carton in most states and premium cigarettes in some states.

    Did they get anything right??
    No. But what do you expect from this company?

    "news" isnt news its enterainment.. they also need to keep their ratings high..

    they obviously think taking a negative slant on e cigs as apposed to taking a positive one will help their ratings.. which is the really bad news for us..

    basically these dudes tell the majority what they think the majority wants to here.. which it seems is negative things about e smoking..

    This article made me realize that I should worry about being a pedophile. At work, I ate a fun-size candy bar, and it was indeed fun! By eating said product, I was trying to live in a child's world; clearly candy is strictly marketed to children! (How about laws against that? Child obesity, diabetes, rotting teeth.) I had intended to dress in a festive costume tomorrow, and dispense sugary confections to kids, but I now realize that I would merely be trying to lure them into the seductive charm of vaping. I clearly need deep psychotherapy, and possible removal from society! Thanks, ABC affiliate!

    What a crock of BS! If it isn't negative - they do not want it. That is what makes news today - negativity - nothing even slightly positive.

    Selective reporting at its best. Since this is a local news channel of ours, (which I usually do not watch) I too will try to post a comment on their website and see what happens.

    yep a some positives and some negatives.... but really it was a fair report and it was truthful to an extent.... but I know a few docs already that say tar is 90% of the reason why you get tumors and cancer from smoke.... but i never here anything about that anywhere.

    Here's what i posted. We'll see what happens

    I will say this.
    As a 27 year smoker, i was able to put standard cigarettes down within 3 days i started with my e-cigarette.
    And this is the real problem. It comes down to economics. I don't buy cigarettes anymore, so there goes tax money. Multiply that by the thousands that have already stopped purchasing cigarettes, and you can see why big tobacco/ big pharma / fda want to stop their use.
    I make my own liquid, so I KNOW EXACTLY what is in it. If you read the FDA report in full, you will notice that the levels that are being talked about are much lower in the e-cig than they are in a normal cigarette or thier NRT control.

    In my posted comment I directed people to come here for more information. I believe that this is the best site for any information regarding e-cigs.
