What part was true? -- Well I guess the part that said you can purchase NJoys at Pilot stations and other brands at malls or online...
No smoke- no odor uhmm... of course there is simulated smoke. There is a faint odor that doesn't linger also- many times it is pleasant if you aren't vaping tobacco flavor. The funniest thing about it is they showed the dude using it while they said it produces no visible exhausts while the guy was exhaling vapor.

its the media doing that it does best, reporting on anything bad, and not bringing up the good in anything, the media would rather you hear negative stories than positive ones... Im so sick of people saying there is antifreeze in esmoke.. makes me want to vomit. Leave us alone, and come up with real reports, no lies, STOP BIG TOBACCO! It wouldn't hurt me at all if they came out and shut big tobacco down for good, i don't care how much revenue they bring to the government table.. This is clearly money driven.

I somewhat agree with you after watching it for a second time. The main issue I have with it is the lack of investigative reporting. They hyped this piece all week long to only present this big pile of stink. The pouring of antifreeze was unnecessary and bad practice IMO. They used a common joe as the pro, and a doctor as a con. Then again I guess I should not expect much from a local news station.
Also their choice of wording is pretty bad. "Doctors say ... mysterious and probably dangerous.". "secrete weapon". "diabolical".

Making up conspiracy theories isn't news either. Obviously they have no evidence that "big tobacco" is behind an evil plot or they would have stated it.
This is why I don't watch the evening news. Its nothing but fear mongering. They play up 2 inches of snow as a "blizzard" then can't wait for someone to die so they can bring us "updates as they happen."
Thats the first time i've heard an atomizer called a "vaporizer."
Half of the video was borrowed from other news casts. I recognize the black guy at the mall from weeks ago.

They could have pulled the multiple Health New Zealand trials (Ruyan funded) posted here Health New Zealand Company News, electronic cigarettes
Or they could have at least read the FDA summary report (Only 1 cart tested had levels about 1%)...
But yes- just from their choice of words it shows how slanted this "news report" was. Forget the fact that they did almost 0 fact checking.

One of the best things to do when you see these articles is to be a bit vocal and speak your opinion, I registered which only took 2 minutes and then posted my feedback, hey why not.

Maybe we should all start writing Letters To The Editors. Explain what is actually going on and why. That it is not targeting children any more than any other flavored item is. And what about cosmetics. Talk about targeting children and look at all the chemicals that are in them.
Then when people still won't listen because they are on a holy war against anything that resembles smoking, we tell them if they don't leave us alone, we will smoke anyway and any place we want to. Then we will be arrested, thrown into jail and they, the holier than thou taxpayers, can pay for us because we will refuse to pay any fines etc. They might reconsider their unsubstantiated accusations if they might have to pay out money in order to enforce them.

I posted a comment:
Electronic cigarettes have been on the market for over 5 years. There has not been ONE report of injury or serious illness related to them. On the contrary, people are reporting improved health by using them. Isn't that "proof" right there? If people were really inhaling "antifreeze," don't you think someone would have become sick by now? Are you going to listen to people who have never tried them nor tested them or the half million-plus people who are already benefitting from them every day?

I've just read all the comments, if they delete all the positive ones, they will be down to zero.
Props to who ever posted a link to this site.

No but earlier today they had 14 comments- all positive... and a few moments ago they only had 12 comments...
