Default PG vs VG on Taboo and Honey Flue?

I am planning on trying out the Taboo and Honey Flue.
Ironically this sub forum was brought to my attention from a 'complaint' by a forum member, and I was quite impressed by how liquidxpress handled the situation. I felt it was pretty classy - and deserves praise (perhaps he deserves the 5 point refer a friend bonus? ).

So other than the basic, PG has a stronger throat hit and VG having more vapor, are there any significant taste differences? I was under the impression that tobacco flavours needed to be a PG mix.
I am not allergic to PG to my knowledge.

Any feedback to the differences? Please feel free to refer me to a previous thread if it has been discussed before and I missed it. I'd like my first impression to be a good one (without ordering both types ofcourse).
    Thanks.

    Hi Sniperboy,

That question is a good one, it has been debated over the forums for years (PG vs. VG pluses and minuses). There is a slight taste variation due to the sweetness of the VG, but I would tell you that if you are going after the true HFC taste in all it's original glory, go PG.

Hey Rob.. thanks for following up. I appreciate it.
I actually haven't used them yet as I like to wait a bit. I had bought a batch of some of my favourite juices from another vendor recently and they didn't taste the way I remembered it to - I think either I need to let em steep or my taste buds have been haywire lately.

I tried both HFC and Taboo just now and I prefer the Taboo. I don't dislike the HFC but I think it may need some time to grow on me tho at its present state. I'll give it time to 'steep'.

I appreciate your excellent communication and super quick shipment bro.

Well, I have used both of these in both varieties. I always used to get the PG HFC, and I always loved it. This last time however I got 30ml of HFC PG and 10ml og HFC VG and I mixed them. That was the best way for me by far. I liked how the addition of the vg toned down the flavor a bit and how it really boosted the vapor production. Definitely my favorite way to vape the HFC.

Taboo on the other hand I didn't care for so much in straight PG, but I love it in the VG variety! The flavor is great and the vapor production is almost ridiculous! Definitely not the best choice if you are stealth vaping. Taboo VG is most definitely my favorite juice I have tried from LX and I have tried many. I do really like both flavors better after they have sat for a week or so. I don't reccomend using the VG juice in cartomizers however as it seems to make them taste and perform funky quicker than if you use PG juice. I recently have been using ego vision clearomizers and they work very well with the straight VG juice as long as you clean them out every few days. Hope someone finds this useful!

Thanks for the feedback skunkjar.. do you leave your juices sit out with the cap (and nozzle) off?
I think I am just spoiled.. my first juices were hand me downs and must have been sitting around and tasted great. I didn't really believe in 'steeping' until I got some new juices.

Rob I appreciate you following up bro : )
As expected from your great customer service.

Just an update - I put aside my HFC and Taboo and forgot about them for a while per some suggestions on the forums and looks like at 2 months the flavour really got better (to MY taste) on both of my juices. I am really enjoying them now. Thanks again Rob. I guess this means I should always plan ahead with my purchases. Now I know how wine collectors have to go through : ) good things come to those who wait.

Oh darn.. I just realized I missed the labor day sale.. oh well.. until the next one! : ) I should have enough to last me until the next major holiday (crosses fingers).
