Default Anyone using Pyramind Tea Bags with the VX2?

    Hello Everyone,

I've been experimenting for almost a week now with using Lipton Pyramid Tea Bags as a cart stuffing material with my VX2, with mixed results. I've read every forum post, tried every rolling method, and used a number of different sizes, and I'm still not sure what to think.

Just today I decided to revert back to the good 'ol 'standard' blank VX2 carts, and I've been pleasantly surprised by the amount of vapor and taste that I'm getting. Of course, going back to these means also going back to burning filler, more frequent top offs, and eveything else that I was trying to get away from. It also means that I have to keep buying blank carts like I'm hoarding for the apocalypse again, which I'd much rather not do.

So, here's my question: Is anyone using Pyramid Tea Bags regularly with their VX2? If so, how much of the PTB are you using to stuff with? Has anyone else reverted back to the stock stuffing after trying these? Inquiring vaporers want to know.

    Thanks!

I've tried using teabags in my vx2...not worth the amount of hassle imo.

You can buy other types of filling for your carts that are easier to pack and have higher melting temps, but I'm blank on the name.

The VX2 atty doesn't get as hot as other pv's, so to me it's not worth modding carts.

Tried the teabag filter once... tasted like a wet teabag. I'm now using the Fluval for filler; it's still not as good as the original stuff but it's the closest thing I've tried.

I haven't tried the tea bag. I had ordered a lot of filled carts in the first month, and I have refilled them over and over with my juices. In fact, because I love the fruity juices so much I have 27 boxes of 5 filled carts each (135 Misty Mints) that I haven't touched yet. That should last me a good while. The cart fillers are lasting me so long...probably because I don't mix flavors a lot. I wish my batteries lasted as long...

All I've been using lately in my VX2 are the Lipton Pyramid Tea Bags with good results. The cart lasts a lot longer so top offs are not required as often. You have to experiment with how much to use, but basically you don't want it rolled too tight or too loose. It also helps to clean the material after a days worth of use.

I haven't had any luck with the PTB either in any of my e-cigs, not just the VX2. I tried them folded, rolled, long, short, cone cut, etc etc. I didn't like PTB but I do have a lot of Vanilla Caramel Truffle tea now Kroger sells a "wrap coffee filter" for about $2.00 for 40. You can get about 20 fillers out of each sheet. I do an accordion fold and it works pretty well. Holds a lot of juice, great vapor, no burnt taste. It has a decent throat hit, but I just use the VX2 when I am going to be chain vaping so I don't usually use it with the high mg stuff. But if I could find a manual pass through for the VX2..........
