My interests in ecigs are not as a supplier, my interests are in keeping the ecig alive as a user. I have seen so much taken away in my life because of big tobacco and we really do need to unite. I don't only do this for myself but for future generations, my children, your children and our children's children (and thats a lot of children...). I imagine that all of us have been affected by tobacco or we would not be on this forum.
I really wish we can all put aside the little things that happen here and combine our energy into a positive and get our tushie's into gear and fight the battle we are in together...Let's just get this thing on already and get it over with. There are lives to be saved and futures to be altered. Our path on this planet (Earth) are not pre determined and we can change the future, but this bickering and nonsense is exactly what those in power expect and rely on... It is our weakness, our flaw, and our ultimate doom as a civilization. We are being manipulated and controlled, by the media, the "illuminati" and the people in power and we are falling right into their trap.
We are all adults here and we need to work out whatever silly little problems we may have. THERE IS A BIGGER CAUSE, AND A MUCH BIGGER THREAT TO US ALL.
So the ultimate logical conclusion is for everyone to get their S%^t together and lets proceed with a right and just cause!!!

eplanet - This is a damned good post. You make a LOT of great points here and, for the most part, I agree with them.

Now...Shift your perspective about 2 degrees to the left and think of it like this;

There's a lot going on. We're begin threatened by legislation, bans, etc..etc...

Isn't that more important than posting rant thread after rant thread after rant thread, pretty much BEGGING to be banned because someone you like / know got a 7 day suspension from the forums?

Think about it.

Spikey's doing all of this amazing stuff and bending over backwards and meeting with people and trying to work out legislation but she can't bite her tongue on an internet forum? And not just ANY internet forum but the largest and most populous of all of the internet forums dedicated to this topic.

I think people's views are skewed a bit by their personal feelings and I, for one, know that we can't bend over and take it just because someone is trying to do great things in the world.

If a CMOH recipient commits a felony, he's still going to jail.

Spikey's actions make perfect sense, she IS bending over backwards for OUR right to use the electronic cigarette... a very MAJOR part of that is the simple rights of individual freedoms... and to not bow down to people with power ambitions... sounds to me like the rant was right on target for her and her legal actions

Like I said, I still do not know what transpired not one person has pm'd me with any kind of detail. So that is my perspective without detail.

I am just saying that this forum has become a great place for us to network, it is by no means the be all end all of ecigs. I still do not have the full story.

Again, though, I think the concept of "fearing the mods" is a bit dramatic.

If everyone that has been banned had addressed their concerns in as reasonable a way as most people have been conducting themselves in this thread, thus far, there would have been NO bans.

mayhaps she had decided that her work was obviously not being appreciated here... and thusly... didn't care about the consequences..

im never going to understand why ONE persons feeling offended kills the thought process of 20 others who are fine with what is going on.. just like WE collectively cannot understand why the minority thinks it's ok that we die using cigarettes instead of live vaping without harm to others...

i'm not sure why or how... but somehow we are becoming the enemy. how are we suppossed to fight against people who take our freedoms away by taking freedoms? it really doesn't make any sense unless maybe when one is the taker

now just to be clear... i dont know if the "Same as you" was meant as a threat... but it felt as such on this end.. my intention is not to try to be banned.. but if stating my thoughts and/or concerns gets me there... then so be it... if that's the case.. then this place really isn't what i thought it was.. maybe never was.. and honestly not worth my time and effort

sorry e... that wasn't directed at you.. and i had meant to delete that but forgot... it was part of a seperate thought process
